  • Kalmah and EToS is like what u want it to be. PERFECT!

  • Kalmah and Eternal Tears fucking rule!!

  • KAAALMAAAAAH!!!!

  • Kalmah is my favorite band.

  • @Kharn700 me tooooo!

  • IMO, Kalmah > ETOS only after the album A virgin and a whore. Before this masterpiece, Kalmah = ETOS. (:

  • this song sounds hard to play on guitar hero

  • @26NINJAS Yeah, try it on regular guitar too.

  • @26NINJAS try playing it on an actual guitar :P

  • Antti Kokko was the Lead guitar for this album of ETOS and its well known that he is the actual Lead Guitar of Kalmah so yeah the guy is pretty much a fucking God in the guitar you can see the similarities on this song and in the Prophetian intro

  • This band is like Kalmah their Melodic death/Black Metal

  • 1:45 - 2:15, AMAZING!!

but hey, the whole song is amazing :)

  • Melodeath is like wow but Kalmah is the best !

  • Remember, antti kokko is the guitarrist of this disc

  • How do they come up with these amazing melodies? They're so great and masterful. i wish i could write music like them. Anyone have any advice of things i should know when writing music in this style?

  • The guitar does sound like Kalmah, which is no surprise. Other than that, the drums, keys, and vocals are all distinctly different from Kalmah. Awesome song.

  • The guitar riffs are very much like kalmah with rotting christs vocalist

  • if justin bieber listens to this his head will explode of epicness

  • This sounds hardly anything like Kalmah, you guys are on crack.

  • Really, I don't know what kind of metal is what anymore. Either way, I don't care what kind. It rocks. <3

  • This sounds so much like Kalmah, I thought I got the tags mixed up on my computer. I'm not mad though. It makes sense because Antti and all of their former members were/are in this band.

  • This is the fucking same song I heard in one of Kalmah albums. How was it named in Kalmah?

  • grupos como estos hacen enorgullecer al Melodic Death Metal ;)

  • intro ! god dammit fucking great

  • @H4x1990 you are a fucking idiot!!!

  • ......NEVER EVER, fucking compare that pos CoB to EToS. It's not even close. If you are on this page, you are listening to Gods.

  • i hate when ignorant people disociate this band with the GOTHIC METAL :S:S:S:S:S

this band is CLEARLY NOT gothic metal :S:S:S

it's like Kalmah with different members! and even tho...Antti Kokko recorded this whole album.

  • Holy shit I didn't know Kalmah helped these guys. They're my fav bands together with other bands like Amon Amarth, Insomnium, Mors Principium Est and As I Lay Dying. I love every song of those mentioned bands but I prefer Kalmah just slightly over this band. Much awesomeness.

  • @Marweinicus Don't put As I lay Dying on the same catagory is these true Melodic BandS,Thank you :)

  • @stichyoureyes Why not ? It's one of my favourite bands amongst a list of awesome bands I listen to like Destroy Destroy Destroy, Neaera, Sybreed, Amorphis (Although not really melodic death anymore), Arch Enemy and Closer.

  • @Marweinicus Don't put As I lay Dying on the same catagory with these true Melodic BandS,Thank you :)

  • @stichyoureyes And Be'lakor. I forgot.

  • God the Kokko brothers are so awesome<3

  • O M F G.

    WOW.

    God Bless the MeloDeath metal.

  • @warstein Actually, Its Symphonic Death metal ^^

  • haha this song just sounds like kalmah with a different vocalist

  • Thats what it is dude

  • this song sounds just like kalmah o-o not all of tehy songs sound this simular but this one sounds like a kalmah song

  • 3 members from Kalmah composed most of this album, and did the album with the vocalist from Eternal Tears of Sorrow. I believe the guitarists and either the keyboards or drums are also from Kalmah. They're good friends, same drive from metal. Great album. Hope that clears that up.

  • :D:D:D

  • For this album (A Virgin and a Whore) EToS had Kalmah's lead guitarist with the band.

Their other albums they had a different lead guitarist.

  • i don't give a shit what's like do they sound. i just like them \m/

  • Who cares if they sound like Kalmah there, its not a bad thing to sound like.

  • The guitarist from Kalmah helped make this album

  • ...NO What Really? (Sarcastic)

  • everyones posting about how ETOS sounds like kalmah, but didnt ETOS release there debut before kalmah?

  • Lol, it doesn't matter, 3 members of Kalmah composed this album, or most of it.

  • I was gonna comment saying this sounds like kalmah...But I see that's already been established. Good song, Good song.

  • hehe the reason why this band kinda sounds like Khalmah is simple, the guitaris from Khalma play whit em in this album ^^

  • vocals aside, this band sounds VERY similar to Kalmah. Especially this song lol

  • I give EToS credit for this song. It sounds alot more thrash influenced. I enjoy it quite a bit. Probably the only album I enjoyed by this band. Kalmah floats my boat just fine.

  • great band but i prefer kalmah and catamenia

  • Greatest song by em imo

  • It sounds like Kalmah, because Antii Kokko plays in this album from EToS, and the album to me has such a Kalmah feel. Love it.

  • one of my favorites from EToS

  • MEGA-SHIT

this is best ever fucking band...

i agreed with you guys about children of bodom!

these two are AWESOME...and i like agathodaimon too VERY MUCH

why don't you all try out

the musics are: serpent's embrace, an angel funeral........

all of them are great....just try out!

  • Wow thought this was kalmah lmao. Sounds like Principle Hero by kalmah ALOT.

  • I thought the video was mislabled at first....totally thought it was kalmah lol

  • 1:35

  • The guitar in EToS's songs is amazing

  • nah just this album. kokko is the man

  • Sa sonne comme Children of bodom ;-)

  • non ca sonne comme kalmah

  • aussi .

  • a hard competition 4 bodom in my ears ^^ i salute to etos

  • yeah, alot of finnish bands seem to sound like this

    COB

    Norther

    These guys....

  • kalmah

  • CoB sounds nothing like these guys, not norther either..

  • CoB rulezzzzzz

  • Dude, this shit fucking rules.

  • esta banda no me deja de sorprender

  • Beautiful song...

  • Altti still have to improve his harsh voice, however It is fucking great, really. One of my favorite songs.

    Peace for all

  • Great song!!

    Peace

  • Yes, u could almost think its Kalmah :)

  • the band sounds like kalmah cuz its the same genre and they had a member from kalmah

  • hell yeah, I think the same.. guitarist and vocals sounds like a Kalmah. althought i am a big fan of EToS, and I listened this with very first time, i really thought this was Kalmah. But you can actually identify EToS style at 2.00 (or sooner?), when keyboards are played. well, great song after all. 5*

  • In my ears, i can regognize these guys from Kalmah during first 10seconds. Difference is so clean. :) One thing is same with Kalmah & EToS though, both .. kick.. ass! \,,/

  • This particular song sounds a hell of a lot like Kalmah.

  • agreed lol but still awesome. especially the guitar run before the first verse

  • wow this band has fucking amazing keyboards.

  • the best etos song! i need to dl this!

  • ^^ ya lyrically, definitely.

  • seems like a kalmah copy? same kinda riffs!

  • but it's just better^^

  • The reason is because Antti Kokko from Kalmah was in the band for a few years.

  • @harmonicamajor

Pasi, Petri and Antti were working on this album

  • @harmonicamajor

yea, i was just thinking that. the intro kinda sounded like Hades

  • @harmonicamajor same lead guitarist as kalmah

  • @harmonicamajor jajaja si es muy parecido

pero por eso me gusta a mi!

  • @harmonicamajor ETOS are better

  • @harmonicamajor

Its Kalmah's guitarist Anti Kokko on this album ;)

  • Comment removed

  • @harmonicamajor yeh as the other guy said, this is just better :P though it's a matter of personal opinion, I never liked Kalmah's vocals too much :( would love them if they eased up a bit on the growling, just did a milder one or even just screaming :)

  • @harmonicamajor Antti Koko played in this album.

  • @harmonicamajor

ETOS started in -94, Kalmah in -99

  • @harmonicamajor i thought the same when i heard this song, kalmah and ETOS FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
