  • How do you take game footage?

  • is this the 512, or 1GB card?

  • 512mb but in Vista, it takes 512mb of your ram and puts it towards your GPU so it acts like a 1GB and u never use 4GB of ram in a game anyways

  • what are your specs for this laptop. im jw cuz i ordered my yesterday and was wondering how mine would hold up.

  • why is the frame rate so bad, does it run smoother when not recording, what does it run like in 1920*1080? or 720p?

based on the video it looks way too laggy. to play

  • this is running at 720p and that's the max my config supports, it runs 40FPS+ without FRAPS, FRAPS is the only decent recording app and it really bogs down framerate, at for running at 1080p i am not sure but i'd assume it'd run fine

  • can it handle fear 2?

  • of course! Just a general guide line btw, if a computer and game crysis on high it run can almost anything, this computer can do that easily!

  • i have a minor problem with mine. My dad ordered it customized for gaming. But when i try to play a game its so slow. what i mean is that when your in the main menu of the game, and you click settings or campaign it would take 2-5 min. till it does it. ive tried it with several games and nothing changes. what really confuses me is that the same thing happens when i change the volume while im in the program. but at least the graphics are great and game play is smooth. =)

  • try installing the newest drivers, or re-installing the ones you have. Especially the video drivers, i got like 20fps more on COD: WaW when i upgraded to the newest drivers from the Dell site (if you mod desktop drivers you can use even better ones, it's really easy actually).

  • r those like the AMD drivers.

  • can it handle fallout 3?

i've been thinking about getting one, dont wanna shell out 2000 for 17 inch XPS. Studios XPS is more reasonable for pricing.

  • i haven't tried it but it can run crysis very well and it should run Fallout 3 quite well (high settings)

  • You got laid out there at 2:25.

  • yes it can handle any game on the market, at almost max (for at least the ones i've tried) and believe, Crysis to me is the benchmark game and it can run that on max fairly well so i'm sure it can run most other games at max. And this is worth it, it runs really really good not only for gaming but cg and hd content

  • i was using a touchpad btw, that's why it looks like i suck, i was on the couch and yeah, no mouse to use... well i have one (apple mighty mouse :P) just i was on the couch
