@snowgirl1052 well stated. i always thought mcgoohan would have been well cast as lonnigan in the sting, i am always thinking of roles that might have been good for him. shaw is good too he was excellent as nazi tank commander in battle of the buldge. am quite pleased enjoying all of mcgoohan works that i can aquire. just for fun do you think ewan macgregor without the smile would have made a good #6? for the sequel diggerodell100
Today is 13/1/11 and I can't believe it is exactly 2 yrs since Pat left us. I lost my Father-in-law over Xmas & I am reliving this awful sense of loss. To sum up my immediate emotions when viewing 'The Prisoner' 30 yrs ago (which never leaves us but is never recaptured) it would be the excitement of 'heavy brass' accompanied by the wonderment of what our hero is going to go through THIS week! Since 'The Jailbird' I draw 'Oscar & Wild' for the 'Bugle' - watch out for a tribute to Pat soon! BCNU
Thank you. I knew there were 2 more parts. I love the music in this one. I made a Playlist for all 3 parts on my Channel. As Number Six would say, "Be seeing you!"
Nice tribute! I always enjoyed watching McGoohan act. Watched The Prisoner religiously in the 70s. But I think I'll remember him just as well as Longshanks.
Thanks very much for uploading these. Very well done. McGoohan was a bloody genious.

Thanks for this. I just watched the Prisoner series for the first time and now want to rent everything he's ever been in.

What's that good Cranberries song in the background?

It's "God be With You" from the movie "The Devil's Own".

I love the opening of this, captures Patrick McGoohans charasmatic power. He was the most powerful actor ever.

What a treat!! Those of us who prized Patrick's works are in your debt.
