This song is so amazing!! What a truly haunting and mesmerizing song!! This song has always reached deep into my soul!! Brilliance at its best!! Love it all!! The Cure forever and always my friends!! :) ♥
This has always been such an interesting melody and beat and I have always loved this song. The mixture of the music blends so perfectly with the ever so unique voice that Robert has. The Cure is a band who has truly stood the test of time. They have been rockin for 30 years now and their music still sounds fresh to this day!! Such an awesome and amazing band!! A great find here. A great upload!! Rock on forever Cure!!
Snakepit Live version,in my opinion,is much better than the studio version.I think it is strongly influenced by The Doors oriental taste (in songs like The End, Indian Summer,etc.).This influence is also evident in the album The Top and in Smith's side-project The Glove (1983).
this is a great version. when they played it on the dreamtour in '00 it was not as good. porl and boris really make this one rock out while still preserving its psychadelic feel.
The Cure was an awesome band. They had a lot of Creativity, "Burn", "The Snake Pit" songs like those remind of like Tool, That's fucking awesome Creative music. Even their peppy stuff wasn't bad, but I prefer the dark mellow stuff better.
Yeah...Snakepit is my favourite on Kiss Me as well! Haunting song!
