It's called RIDING! we all do it, we are all sluts to powder. Without skiing, boarding would have never been invented. without boarding, skis might not have evolved the way they have in the past years. new skis are 2 boards under your feet, to me it's all the same. however must admit, there is no match for the streamline stance of front and back. even if a borader does it first, a skier will do it bigger and faster eventually. just look at superpipe since 2003.
Given that this is becoming another skis vs boards battle, let me clarify this for you mo foes... The ONLY time boarding will even begin to compete with skiing on any level is when I stop having to drag my boarder mates every time they get grounded on every fucking flat bit. Grrr.

A triple cork 1440 has never been landed before. It's not like you have to land a triple to be pro. This is just crazy shit that only one person has ever done..

@dakine420ify No torstein horgmo, mark mcmorris, and I think sebastien toutant have landed triple cork 1440 on a snowboard. All are on youtube except sebastien's which will be coming soon.
@TheIndyColts bobby brown has two tripples and the rest (sammy Carlson, Elias Ambühl and Mcrae Williams) have one. More skiers than boarders. Bobby did his first triple in the middle of last season (2009-2010) while Torstein did it in spring time, so who's first?
@gunterification travis rice did a triple a while back in thats it thats all in 2008. some consider it a land others dont but it was a triple. i dont really care who did triples first just thought i would throw that out there.
@HYFEEproductions it's fucking awesome that we push the limits of this sport. how lame it would be if everyone just does the 360 and people would just judge the style of that trick. this is an extreme sport more spins means more extreme. of course we should keep the style but really this sport wouldn't go far without the "robotic and monotonous competitions" that's how most skiers make their money.
@twint1p true true, but i guess any sport is what it is to you. people do it for their own reasons and admire certain aspects of it. of course competitions are important, but everything is good in moderation right

Otherwis great point. nowadays all you see is judges deducting great runs because tey don't have a double cork. Every trick in slopestlye is the same nowadays... :(
