Absolutely brilliant - a real talent - in fact you are so good I feel inspired to snap my Les Paul over my knee and stop kidding myself that I will ever be anything more than a third rate clanger!
Great job - I wish i could do that fiddly bit at 1.46 i must practice that....sad that my version will eventually get more views than yours...not because my playing is better, or that i add vocals as well as guitar, or the fact that i use a Gibson Les Paul Custom Shop 1957 re-issue in Dark Cherry which i am sure was set to sustain to infinity and beyond at that crucial note, but the fact that as a thumbnail i have Paris Hilton in a bikini kneeling on a desk.. No justice in this sad world..:)
@justgeorge121 Thanks again! for all of your comments! You'll get that bit eventually if you practice it.. I'de reccomend learning the slash style blues licks first.. As this is very similar to all of his just with the flat 5 added :).. Wow sounds like a nice guitar! hahahahahahahahaah I didn't think of that! thats a great idea!
@marshallmandan Dan i would gladly let you borrow it. Pop round any time. Check out "Johnny A" sometime. It's a different style but i think you would enjoy. i have one of his "GIBSON CUSTOM SHOP" guitars. My reward for 250 gigs a year playing crap to old people....:) Who is this slash? ok i will check out his licks, thanks for the advice...:)
WOW!!! Absolutely fab. I've just watched a few of your vids and they are super. Whack a few pies down your neck and you'll start to look like him too! You've gotta make a livin from playing the banjo
@fatbaldandover40 Hhaha thanks for commenting mate! It means a lot that you like them! Although im not sure looking like him is the greatest compliment ;) Cheers again bro!
i have the epiphone copy with the flames top... maybe some day the gibson ever since i saw jimmy page play one back in the early 70's... great work on your style... silk...
@14GreenBall yeah of course mate :) marshall dsl100, presence, treble and mid at 6, bass at 5, overdrive 1 with gain at 6 :) reverb coming from my Tc electronic g system :) Hope this helps mate, thanks a lot for asking! :)
@luckyhah Thankyou sooo much man! im so glad you think so :), I usually learn songs through a mixture of tabs and listening.. Tabs Don't always give you the right sound straight away, so then i pick up the bits which dont sound great through ear :) hope this helps man :)
@thelolguy007 Thanks a lot bro! yeah i am regularly gigging at the moment, im in two bands, one originals and one covers :) Thanks for the comment dude :)
@marshallmandan - You play it amazingly! Can't wait to see you too! :-) It's the last day of my 20's! Can't believe it! Im relying on you to keep me young with all that rock music! :-) Love you x x x
@JeRkaNee Thanks bro! it means a lot :D and yeah so im using a gibson les paul standard, i think it was made in 2007, it was from the last batch of unchambered ones at the shop i bought it from... and im using a g system by Tc electronics, and nova drive by Tc electronics (both pedals i love!) and im using a marshall dsl100 and a 1936v cab. I miced it up with an sm57 i believe, although now ive started to use a 58 along with the 57 :) hope this helped man.. thanks for the comment!
@oursonvie Dude that means a lot, thankyou! I was really inspired by the sound i got in this video :) i love that les paul!.. i bought a jam with gary moore book when i first started playing, and i learned it with that.. its a really good book, and comes with backing tracks, hope that helped :)
@stazization Yeaah i definately know what you mean, having said that, i saw them on their last tour with john sykes and it was still a really good night.
I had about a term of lessons in school when i first started out, but i stopped pretty soon after.. the school teachers havent ever been that great. The new one in school however is pretty good, although i think one on one are a lot more usefull, which you can have in school too now.. If your interested i would give him lessons?
Nice Dan. I saw Lizzy play at The Colston Hall 9th April 79 on their Black Rose Tour. Pretty sure GM was playing a Les Paul that night. Awesome gig awesome band.
@stazization Thanks a lot :)!.. I would have loved to have seen lizzy back in the day! must have been awesome! such a great band.. can't wait to see them in january! :)
@shadomal Hey man :) thanks for your comment. I recorded the sound using an shure sm57, i used logic. the amp was a marshall dsl100 :) hope this helped.

Hi Dan,
Decent of you to offer. Joe is up for it and will contact you via Facebook to arrange and I'll stand the costs so just let him know your rates.
You might know Joe already as he hangs out in the music rooms a lot and has a sister in 6th form.
