Meinl and Pearl percussion release very innovative products, but I would prefer to see people in general develop a wider appreciation for different, non-superficial music, thereby making it so the need for said products to be higher.

Wow! You would at least expect this guy to be able to keep the groove steady! Although I bet he wanted to redo it, once he knew he was off, and the corporate Meinl bastards said "Naw, it's good enough - we have a deadline!" or some lame shit like that. Oh well - it's up now for all to see... Still a nice addition to a percussion setup.

foot cabassa i had 2 both slipped , i did a self tap screw mod thro metal disk onto the blak body and sorted for good.adrian

Great! I've been playing with the idea of a foot-operated cabasa for the last year, and now Meinl has done the hard work for me. I _really_ need to get one of those!
