Season 1 was mroe overthetop, but season 2 was far more serious and dark with more involvement in the other groups. (loved Hotel Moscow)

Aha, I knew I wasn't the only person freaked out by Hansal and Gretal/really freaky twins. It was really dark but after watching it (and coming out of being majorly freaked), I was really quite pleased with it. I would have given the rating a four out of five because I'm just more attuned to all kinds of anime, but other than that, I think you did a really good job of the anime. I'd have to say, that I liked the manga a bit more, but the anime is totally kick-ass!

Sorry to hear you got injured, but kudos to the cool look with the blue wig and vampire teeth. They look good on you. I agree the ending theme to the show felt really awkward in it's insertion, and I was very disappointed they said jack about Revy's past. I mean, they barely give you a nibble and while its not necessary, it would have been a bit better if we had just a bit more to go off of.

I actually gave this a much higher rating but I can see where your coming from. Keep up the good work!

I've heard of this series, but I'm not sure that I'm gonna watch it. I don't have an interest in Black Lagoon 4 some reason. It's strange actually, since I like action anime, though I don't like very many dark anime, but still, nice review, Tanime!!

I Saw one episode and fell in love with Revi. I never finished it due to the distributing tie up, but one day I'll check it out. Nice Vamp cosplay.

So yes, Black Lagoon. You nailed it perfectly. It's dark, lacking character development, full of action, and also kind of fun. I really liked it, highly due to how the action scenes are put together. Some of the things they do are completely ridiculous and awesome.

as a quentin tarantino fanboy i always felt this anime captured his spirit, this is probably the most quotable anime i've ever come across, and revy is one of the most badass anime characters i've come across
