  • Today Dec30, in the city of Newport Beach, Ca where I live,100 miles from the Mexican border. Just on the news . A fishing boat, no hull docked in Newport Beach, By-standers saw what appeared to be about 100, jumping out running in all directions. After Inspecting the boat. Law enforcement determined, the boat was from Mexico. However, no one could identify the people on board were actually Mexicans .

Corse not idiots, they had dark skin, obviously Italian

  • Laura ingraham is a waste of time never like here..she talks way too much..she doesn't let someone finish there statement. I bet she voted for Obama and trying to playing it off.

  • @abrnt1 Actually I am over medicated. r u still in the psychiatric ward or have you been released?

  • I'm in this video!!! Great day.

  • And the lefty stations bashing them displayed....?

  • "If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be."

    -Thomas Jefferson

Tea Parties, by and large, are fueled by ignorance. I agree with some of the sentiments that government needs to change and be FOR the people, but calling Obama a Socialist (isn't true) doesn't help anything but marginalizing the REAL message.

Stop being ignorant Tea Party, you look just as crazy as the 9/11 Truth movement, and have just as much credibility.

  • Sorry but Fox News IS mainstream media and they don't' ignore Tea Parties, but rather promote them hardcore.

As for the CNN interviewer "shouting down" someone. When someone says something that's absurd, it should be challenged.

Tea Parties have HUGE corporate backing, they are about as grass roots as Wal Mart.

I also love how "elitist" is a bad word on Fox News, I mean the founding fathers were the elitists of their day.

  • Who are you kidding you stupid little freak? Hitler appeased those who were in the manufacturing sector while stealing money from the Jews (oh he employed Muslim help in the country too). Hitler socialized (after he had enough power) even the capitalists whom he lied to to start with. It's on the record so don't try to lie on youtube, or eventually you'll run into someone with an education.

  • Marxist agenda? Has anyone on this thread even read Marx? I sincerely doubt it, in fact I'ld be surprised if more than two or three people here had even read a BOOK in the last five years, if at all.

  • Well MSNBC was on site trying to make the protesters look bad. Are you denying people their right to a formal non-violent protest?

  • How is she a reporter? A liberal news reporter from CNN yells and cuts off an inteviewer! She didn't even let him explain his reason. it's not anti-government its called freedom of speech and they have the right as citizens to object when they think the government isn't doing something right.

  • Jeesh all the liberal news stations do is slam Fox for people opposing the liberal gov. Can't they see people are fed up with lies and empty promises?? If this was a protest against a conservitive gov. guess what CNN, U would be covering it!

  • That's because they are pushing the marxist agenda.

  • What is the Marxist agenda? Can you list some of the items?

  • Well your boy Hitler was a national socialist. Subverting Fox news is an example. Branding dissenters as extremists for having peaceful protests at the tea parties is another.

  • Is everyone in your family as stupid as you or are you an exception? FOX is not news it is the propaganda arm of the evangelical neoconservatives who want to create a theocracy.

  • I guarantee you that we are all more educated than you. And that are I.Q.s are higher. Would love do debate a few of you commie trolls on here.

  • "That "are" I.Q.s are higher?" You're a right wing ass hat. I have an I.Q. of 148 and I am a long time member of American MENSA. You have the qualities needed to be a republican statesman - 6th grade graduate, believe in an invisable person in the sky, and consider Rush as your savior.

  • Look you moron, I know you sit at your computer looking for grammar mistakes that a guy made at 3 in the morning while doing work for a job and while working on his dissertation because it makes you feel smart. But you're not fooling anyone. And you looking up some "honors" online and applying them to yourself is very convincing.

  • I could cripple you using the thumb and index finger of my left hand. I have reported your IP address to the agents and they will be calling on you soon regarding your threats against the President. Bend over and grab your cankles.

  • I think it is so funny that some 98 lb. weakling claims to be so tough. I haven't threatened the President and hope the guy is safe throughout his term and afterward. See sane people don't wish ill on those whom they disagree with.

  • You better watch your mouth boy. I don't cotton to no name calling boy. Support the troops. Palin 2012-2014!

  • Rhetoric which includes the meaningless "change" slogan should've tipped you off. Not allowing FOX news to be in the White House before CNN told them that if FOX could not come that they would not either. Socialized medicine... if michael moore says it you surely believe it. But why won't you explain why people who have the means leave such countries for care in America (ex: Europe) and have no choice but to die in 3rd world socialist countries. Would love to debate you.

  • Because if you are a liberal an education, common sense, and decency are not required to have a job at MSNBC or hollywood. Boycott all liberal stuff.

  • But they are right. Unlike your lib networks pushing socialism like the NAZIS that they are. .. MSNBC worst offender.

  • hahahaha--she states that teabag protesters are upset about carbon emission regulations (as one of her reasons)

  • Well whatever either side says it all adds up to the following: all businesses have a goal and that is to get as much money out of the customer as possible. We are all tax payers and customers in a way. I know for a fact we have had a lot of corruption in the local government in the past. Life is push and pull. If you do not push back you ultimately fall down. Those in power use government, issues like war or emergencies and laws to force us to pay more when normal means fail. Push back friends.

  • White-supremacist are not right-wing and conservative period end of story!

White-supremacist are subversive scum, overty Racist-commies!

    Nazi=communist communist=Nazi

  • True but they do vote republican

  • What about Demokkkrat Senator Robert Byrd(KKK), he is a democrat who voted down and was against racial-intergration the Civil rights act of 1964(Richard Nixon helped write this too)

  • Im not talking about the members of the party, but rather the voters in this country. The racists of this country sure did not vote for obama, and many do not agree with progressive ideals like gay marriage so they tend to be conservative and vote republican. I know the great majority of conservatives are not racist but that doesnt mean they dont vote similar to them

  • You are an idiot.

  • william ayers votes dem and he is a convicted domestic terrorist

  • That's a real shocker...(sarcasm).

  • What do you consider a white supremacist? I am a proud white American, am also conservative. People need to stop throwing around words. Because the words then become completly meaningless.

  • Comment removed

  • I am too buddy.

  • scouser691... You're making yourself look like an ass. Now I'm begging you to be fair and unbiased. I'll still debate you ALL DAY LONG! I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt. Now put up or shut up.

I'm sorry, I misquoted the population of the US. It's actually 309 million. My bad.

  • Again you accused me of lying. Please prove your assertion that I'm a liar

Again what part of my posting that I pasted from the gallup website was a lie

    Whenever you're ready

You called me a liar, you said I made up the poll.

    Prove it

You said that the information I posted wasn't from a poll.

    Prove it

  • Tick tock tick tock tick tock tick tock.

  • Quote from nolongerleft "I have the Gallup poll widget on my blog site and I even went to Gallup to check your numbers. You're making things up that Gallup doesn't even poll"

Again, please tell me what part of what I said about the gallup poll is a lie?

  • You're quoting a news article by Frank Newport, not a poll. Notice he doesn't put a link to the actual poll in the article? Who is he polling? What percentage of liberals does he poll compared to conservatives? I can do a poll. I'll call up all of my conservative friends and poll them and see what they think. Now go look at ALL the polls and see what it says.

  • "Over two-thirds of Americans -- 71% -- have a great deal or a fair amount of confidence in President Obama to do or recommend the right thing for the economy, a much higher level of confidence than is given to Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, or the Democratic or Republican leaders in Congress"

These results, from a new April 6-9

  • cont - Gallup Poll, show that President Obama continues to be the individual upon whom Americans are most willing to bestow their confidence when it comes to the economy.

    Posted from Gallup website

Again still waiting for you to tell me what part of what I said when I pasted the results of a gallup poll from the gallup website was wrong.

Any day now nolongerleft, preferably today

  • I read the article. I also read that it was an unofficial telephone poll. Where did he do the poll? Was it in a largely liberal city? Even he says his poll may be biased... the last line in his article... the disclaimer.

My intent is not to make you look bad. My intent is to spur you to think, be fair and use cognitive reasoning. I too voted for Obama. It wasn't until I did my own fair minded and unbiased research that I arrived at my decision to not support him in the next election.

Oh so turns out it was a poll after all ey?

  • Quote from nolongerleft "I have the Gallup poll widget on my blog site and I even went to Gallup to check your numbers. You're making things up that Gallup doesn't even poll"

So was I "making stuff up" Was I lying

  • scouser691, you seem intent on picking fly shit out of pepper. Now that I proved your article a farce, you're nit picking on whether or not you lied. OK, you didn't lie about the ONE article you try to pass off as definitive evidence that the left is what America agrees with. Be fair, unbiased and reasonable and I'll debate you all day long. Stop using sophomoric little comments like "tick tock, tick, tock".

  • Again what part of my posting that I pasted from the gallup website was a lie

    Whenever you're ready

  • You called me a liar, you said I made up the poll.

    Prove it

  • You said that the information I posted wasn't from a poll.

    Prove it

  • I read the article. I also read that it was an unofficial telephone poll. Where did he do the poll? Was it in a largely liberal city?

    Pasted from gallup website

Results are based on telephone interviews with 1,027 NATIONAL adults, aged 18 and older, conducted April 6-9, 2009.

  • scouser691, The total population of the United States is 3.9 million! The poll you're trying to pass off was only a mere 1,027 people!!! For Gods sake man, be fair! He says it was a "National poll".... what part of the nation? If I conducted a poll in only ONE state or city, I could call it national!!! READ THE LAST LINE IN THE ARTICLE!

  • Again what part of my posting that I pasted from the gallup website was a lie

    Whenever you're ready

You called me a liar, you said I made up the poll.

    Prove it

You said that the information I posted wasn't from a poll.

    Prove it

  • READ THE LAST LINE IN THE ARTICLE!

Are you referring to the part where it says

"Results are based on telephone interviews with 1,027 national adults, aged 18 and older, conducted April 6-9, 2009. For results based on the total sample of national adults, one can say with 95% confidence that the maximum margin of sampling error is ±3 percentage points"

  • Now the LAST LINE IN THE ARTICLE. Unembellished and pasted directly from the article WITHOUT anything added to it, as you insist on doing:

"In addition to sampling error, question wording and practical difficulties in conducting surveys can introduce error or bias into the findings of public opinion polls."

Stop being an ass man, I'm giving you the opportunity to establish credibility here and you keep arguing tiny little childish details.

  • In addition to sampling error, question wording and practical difficulties in conducting surveys can introduce error or bias into the findings of public opinion polls."

Ah yes and how is this any different from any other poll.

  • scouser691... please. I already said that one poll isn't accurate. I said RCP averages 10 different polls. Still not accurate, but more fair than just quoting one poll or obscure article and running with it.

  • Again why is this so difficult for you to do

Again you accused me of lying. Please prove your assertion that I'm a liar

Again what part of my posting that I pasted from the gallup website was a lie

    Whenever you're ready

You called me a liar, you said I made up the poll.

    Prove it

You said that the information I posted wasn't from a poll.

    Prove it

  • scouser691, you're worse than lying! You're cherry picking obscure articles and data to make your point look credible. You're only making yourself look more petty and unreasonable. I challenge anyone who reads this exchange to refute anything I've said. I use facts, not cherry picked bullshit.

  • Dude, you're getting pwned here. You should quit and move on before NoLongerLeft makes you look even worse.

    Prove it

    Still waiting

  • Read the last line in Mr Newport's article:

"In addition to sampling error, question wording and practical difficulties in conducting surveys can introduce error or bias into the findings of public opinion polls."

So even he admits that his poll numbers may be biased!

  • Pasted fom gallup website.

These results, from a new April 6-9 Gallup Poll.

What part of this is confusing you nolongerleft?

  • Open your web browser, search " Gallup Americans Most Confident in Obama on Economy" Now if you are able to make it that far tell me what part of what I pasted from this is not true

  • Anyone who wants to verify this information just google "gallup democratic leaders in Congress fare better than Republican leaders" The accuracy of the information I posted is there for all to see

  • If you'll go to RCP (that's Real Clear Politics) web site, you'll see that you're inflating numbers to bolster your points. RCP averages 10, that's TEN, different liberal & conservative polls. It clearly shows that Americans have no confidence in congress and the direction that they're taking us economically. Besides that, democrats are in full damage control mode, with so many democrats in the house, senate & cabinet appointees under investigation for fraud, corruption, influence peddling.

  • I choose to accept the RCP averages, because they more accurately depict the opinions of Americans from both sides of the spectrum. They actually average liberal sources as well as conservative. You're using only one source to base your opinions, and you're obviously biased to the left.

  • Again was I lying? Actually the fact that you change the subjects and attack the source answers my question.

  • April 13 2009. Gallup poll. Over two-thirds of Americans -- 71% -- have a great deal or a fair amount of confidence in President Obama to do or recommend the right thing for the economy. 51% have a great deal or a fair amount of confidence in congressional democrats as compared to 38% for congressional republicans

  • scouser691, I don't mind debating you, but when you lie or attempt to inflate the numbers, that's when I'll call you on it. I have the Gallup poll widget on my blog site and I even went to Gallup to check your numbers. You're making things up that Gallup doesn't even poll. Please don't lie. I'll debate you all day long, but please don't lie. Anyone can go to the Gallup web site and see that you're being untruthful.

  • Would you like me to send you the link to the Gallup site?

  • I have the link and your claims just don't pan out. OK, now google: Republican leaders in congress fare better than democrat leaders, you'll get the same amount of biased reporting toward the right.

  • Repeat : April 13 2009. Gallup poll. Over two-thirds of Americans -- 71% -- have a great deal or a fair amount of confidence in President Obama to do or recommend the right thing for the economy. 51% have a great deal or a fair amount of confidence in congressional democrats as compared to 38% for congressional republicans. The survey also finds 49% think that the U.S. would be better off if Democrats kept control of Congress, 34% say the country would be better off if Republicans controlled it

  • Read the poll. Everything I said is 100% correct. Asswipe

  • READ MY LIPS.... YOU'RE LYING. And anyone who wants to take the time to check for themselves will see that you're lying and cherry picking your data from liberal news sources. Be fair, stop lying and I'll debate you all day long!

  • Most of this is pasted from the gallup website. Tell me what part is a lie

  • Gotta go to work. If you're gonna call me a liar get your facts straight first otherwise you look like an asswipe

  • Again, anyone who chooses to check for themselves will see what you're up to. Now I've accused you of lying and proved it, you're showing your frustration by name calling. I stand by my statements and challenge any fair minded person to check for themselves. If telling the truth makes me look like an asswipe, then so be it.

  • Most of this is pasted from the gallup website. Tell me what part is a lie

    Still waiting

  • Again, you're quoting ONE source and cherry picking the data that fits your viewpoints. There are 9 other polls out there. Post the link and I'll look at it. I've already told you and anyone else who wants to check... RCP averages 10 different liberal AND conservative polls. They give a more accurate detail of what America thinks and they don't average out to come even close to what you're trying to push.

  • You called me a liar and said that the Gallup poll did not exist.

Again. Most of this is pasted from the gallup website. Tell me what part is a lie

    Still waiting

  • Wow! You are hard headed and so biased! Do you want me to go find articles that promote conservative talking points and push them as the only source on the internet? I'm sure I can cherry pick articles which promote conservative ideology.

The only thing worse than lying is lying again to cover the first lie and etc and etc.

    Go to work.

  • Google : gallop Democratic leaders in Congress fare better than Republican leaders

  • correction : gallup

  • wow!

that reporter from cnn has some nerve!

    I hate libs...

  • UBUICounterAttack... You need to get off this "faux news" bullshit. If you'll just go to the RCP polls, you'll see that NBC, CNN, CBS and The New York Times actually poll the democratic congress lower than Fox news does! The ultra liberal media is polling lower than Fox!

  • Show me the poll that shows republicans in congress ahead of democrats. The real poll that mattered happened in november when the republicans in congress got used as a punching bag

  • CNN/Opinion Research survey (April 3-5, 1023 A, +/- 3%) finds that more than twice as many Americans think President Obama (58%) has a clear plan forward on the economy compared to Republicans in Congress (24%).

  • Again, I'll have to dispute your numbers. Even if what you say is true, CNN is a liberal news source and tend to poll only liberal voters. But I've already seen that you like to play with the truth. I can cherry pick numbers too if I got my poll numbers from just one source.

Again, you feel compelled to play that red state-blue state game. Saying that people in blue states are more educated is biased and based solely on this past election, not on actual demographics.

  • Ah yes now you are proven wrong and you look like an ass after calling me a liar you attack the news source itself. What a loser

  • I'm not only accusing you of lying, I'm accusing you of cherry picking what you want to believe instead of looking at more than one news source. Anyone who wants to take the time to see for themselves, can do so.

  • I'm not only accusing you of lying, I'm accusing you of cherry picking

scouser691, I don't mind debating you, but when you lie or attempt to inflate the numbers, that's when I'll call you on it

Which is it? are you calling me a liar or not

  • The survey also finds 49% think that the U.S. would be better off if Democrats kept control of Congress, 34% say the country would be better off if Republicans controlled the Capitol.

  • the funny about that percentage is that those numbers were a lot higher when obama first got into office. the number used to be in the 70's percentile. the numbers are consistently dropping. and the republicans numbers were in the 20's. do you see a trend here?

  • Again, you're spot on. Obama started with a 76% approval rating. The first 2 weeks of this month, he was at 59.9%. The last 2 weeks of this month, he's at 61.8%. Now that he's decided to take back the middle class tax cuts I imagine he'll drop further. The sad thing is, democrats don't seem to get it.

  • dude i tear liberals apart on youtube all fuckin day. there so biased and brainwashed.

  • I don't mind people having different views, I just can't stand people who try to manipulate facts and truth. I voted for Obama, sorry to say. But I saw quickly that he wasn't giving us what he promised. He's been abysmal. I'll never vote for him again.

  • well i was going to vote, but since i'm in the military i had to get an absentee ballot, and i didn't get it in time. it wouldn't have mattered cuz i'm a resident of california, so it's retarded to think a republican candidate would win in cali. but is was rooting for mccain.

  • god bless you comrade soldier

    viva right-wing revolution

    down with the liberal establishment

    question liberal authority

  • your kidding right? there's nothing wrong with liberals or conservatives. it's the extremeties of the two that make people mad. i'm conservative and don't want obama in the white house, with that said, it's not like i want to start a revolution and remove him from power. i wish for him to work it out for the better of our country. i have high hopes for him. a democrat is fine and a republican is fine, it's the extremes that are bad. sadly i feel obama has surrounded himself with a few extremist.

  • NoLongerLeft......With all do respect you have every right to abandon Obama's ship and join up with the right-wing. Especially since it's appear that the GOP/conservatives are in exile and their ship is at the bottom up of the sea,.

I was with Obama from the beginning and I' m going to be with him til' the end.

Who knows if the GOP/conservatives comes up with some new ideas, perhaps some day they'll be resurrection in 20 years or so. Certinly not in 2012

    GOOD LUCK

  • Dude, you need to stop bashing and do some homework. I was as vehemently against the right as you are till I did the research. If democrats are going to remain in control of the house and senate in the 2010 elections, they'd better start getting their shit together. Democrats are in trouble. Dodd will lose his seat. Barney Frank will most likely lose too. Jane Harman, under investigation for bribery and influence peddling. Geithner's tax evasion. John Murtha's kickbacks. I could go on and on.

  • Democrats have had control of the house and senate since late 2006. Unemployment has doubled and Obama says it will go past 10% by 2010! Thousands of jobs are being lost by the week! How long is it going to take them to bring unemployment back down? It's been 3 years! And by 2010, that's 5 years of record unemployment! Republicans brought unemployment back down after the 9/11 spike in less than a year!

  • NoLongerLeft.....Yes, it true that the Democrats had control of the house since 2006. But, if I'm not mistaken Bush had the power to veto any bills that the Democrats tried to pass. So, perhaps th unemployment rate can be placed on both parties. Also, Bush use his power to filibuster any bill that he wantd. No, the shoe is on the other foot now. And yes, Obama should use his power to filobuster as well. Obama has been in office for less than a 100 days. He has no magic powers. It takes time

  • Unemployment spiked after 9/11. Go to bls*gov and see the numbers. Bush and the republicans brought it back down in less than a year! Now Obama has a democratic house and senate and Obama himself says unemployment will go past 10% by 2010! What did Bush do that Obama refuses to do? If they don't get unemployment under control they don't stand a chance. America will swing back to the right in a heartbeat! Being hungry and out of work will make even democrats flip sides. Use your head.

  • Absolutely, Obama's ratings are a bit lower when certain people are asked certain questions about some of his policies. I can agree with that. Not everyone is going to agree with him on everything. I'm a huge Obama supporter and I might not agree with everything that he does. But over all Obama's approval rating is at 66%-68%

    Thanks for your comment

  • OK ace, post the link that EVER showed his approval rating over 67%. Approval rating only means people like him. He went from 60.9% yesterday to 61.3% just today. He's lost a percentage point a week in the past 2 months. Oh, and just wait till he starts spending again. He's still talking about spending trillions on healthcare. Who pays for that? He has to get it from somewhere. You think you won't see a huge tax increase? If he gets cap & trade passed, you'll see your home power bills double!

  • I don't watch faux news like you and relay on faux news bais approval rating poll of Obama. I don't doubt those numbers that you and faux news came up. Every other major news network would dispute those numbers excet faux. Like I previously said, of course some people aren't happy when certain policy of the President and yes the President ratings on certaon policies are going to be a bit lower. Let I said I don't dispute that.

  • I'm a life long democrat from a family of hard core democrats. I voted for Obama, but I'll never vote for him again. Any fair minded person can see that he's spending us into an abyss. If I have to, I'll even vote republican to keep Obama from running this country further into the ground. I didn't go to any of the tea parties, but I will go to the next one.

  • It's nice to know that you're not a democrat anymore and the loyal Democrats really appreciate you have left and hopefully you will join the GOP/conservatives party because they need all the help they can get. The more the GOP open their mouth and say stupid shit their approval rating is continuing to go down and Obama approval rating is holding at 66%-68%. Tthe more the GOP open their mouth the higher Obama's approval rating climbs. Thank you GOP you are golden to Obama

  • This is exactly why I will no longer support Obama. The smears and denials don't work with me. I call bullshit when I hear it. Obama's approval rating has never been 68%, even on his first day. The highest he's ever been was 67% on the day he was inaugurated. As of 4/21/09, his approval rating is 60.9% See the RCP averages. RCP averages 10 different polls. He has dropped almost a point per week in 2 months. That's just his approval rating.

  • Now look at other approval ratings from RCP:

    Congressional approval rating: 33.8% approve

    59.3% disapprove.

Direction of the country: 34.7% says we're heading in the right direction. 58.8% say we're heading in the wrong direction.

Oh, and before you say RCP is biased. They're non partisan.

  • Recent Fox news poll, 46 percent approve of the job Democrats in Congress are doing and 34 percent approve of Republicans in Congress. Forty-nine percent of people questioned this month in a CNN/Opinion Research Corp. national survey say the country is better off with the Democrats controlling Congress, 34 percent who say the nation would be better with the Republicans running Capitol Hill

  • Nice to see that you cherry picked one CNN poll from all the others! Way to go!

    Congressional job approval:

    34.3% approve. 59.0% disapprove. -24.7% spread.

    Who controls congress?

    Direction of the country:

36.6% say right direction. 56.7% say wrong direction. -20.1% spread.

    Who controls congress?

From bls*gov, unemployment started skyrocketing in 2006 from 4.4% under Bush and republicans to our now record high 8.5% under Obama and democrats. Obama himself says unemployment will pass 10% by 2010.

  • FYI......I hate to bust your bubble, but I didn't cherry pick CNN. I rarely watch CNN. But I do watch sometime. I like to watch....I'm open minded so I watch MSNBC, ABC, CBS, PBS, BCC and yes CNN. Unlike like some people whose only news source is from faux news and tend to draw their conclusion(s) from the likes of Hannity, Cavuto, O'Reily and Beck. Since there has been a lot of talk about Beck fake crying, Beck hasn't cried in a coupe of week now. I guess Beck figured that shit wasn't working

  • Hey scouser691.....Those numbers that you got from faux news has changed. According to MSNBC.......The Democrats approval in Congress is at 50% or 51% of runinning the country and the republicans aprroval rating is at 29%. I know there's gap in rating with ceertain news networks. But there are closer than what faux news shows.

  • also you said that dems are more educated... well according to cnn(so it's gonna lean generously your way), more democrats have never attended high school, and the amount of americans with a bachelor is even between both democrats and republicans. and that's a cnn poll. and judging that i've responded to a few of your comments and even sent you a personal message and you have yet to respond to me shows me that you can't defend your conclusions. if your right prove it to me. lets go.

  • Wrong wrong wrong. Pew research and publication found Liberals are far better educated than other groups (48% college graduates, compared with an overall average of 27%). By contrast, populists are less educated, with just 16% holding college degrees, and nearly half of them live in the south.

  • Liberals have dominated the arts science and philosopy for centuries. If it was up to our conservative friends we would still believe that the world is flat and the center of the universe. Actually we'd still be living in caves not yet able to draw pictures on the cave walls.

  • States with some of the highest concentrations of graduate and professional degree holders tend to be located on East Coast, according to a new analysis by the U.S. Census Bureau

The survey, which looked at graduate-degree attainment for the 25-and-over population, found some of the highest levels of graduate and professional degrees in Massachusetts (14.5 percent), Maryland (14.1 percent), Connecticut (13.7 percent), Virginia (12.9 percent), NY (12.6 percent), and Vermont (12.3 percent).

  • However according to census bureau, The nations capital, the District of Columbia, counted 23.6 percent of its 25-and-over population with graduate degrees, more than any state. YEP, THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, THE MOST HEAVILY LEANING DEMOCRATIC AREA IN THE NATION, Nationwide, 9.4 percent of the population held graduate or professional degrees. Methinks they are mainly referring to the FLY OVER ZONE

  • i got my numbers from cnn just to be fair. out of americans that had college degrees 49% were democrats and 49% republicans. also there are more democrats on welfare and have low income jobs. you realize that no matter what affiliation you are, each person has the same odds of being educated no matter what side your on. there's hick people in the south and ghetto people in the cities. and rich people everywhere, spread out evenly.

  • Spot on pokeylilpuppy! That's a very fair statement.

  • I attended the Tea party I have never received a pay-check from Republican & Libertarian party, or Fox newscorp!

    Hell I am a ethnic-minority(Chinese) American born since I'm a CALI-boy!

so not fair I had to vote for that RINO McCAin!

I really wanted to vote for Mitt Romney!

  • I like Mike Huckabee and the FairTax.

  • No one gives a fuck if your Asian. Why do you racist anti-white non-whites always flaunt your race around like it's something special.

  • Because liberalism entitles small-minded idiots to act as if their race is better than others. Isn't it interesting that libs do one thing and accuse the right of doing it?

  • Of course faux news were out there campagining on the behalf of the GOP/conservatives. Faux news even admitted that they promoted some of those tea-bag evets across the country. The GOP/conservatives need all the help that they can get..

90% of the tea-baggers were McCain voters

These were the authentic tea party protesters

    5% was independents/Democrats

    5% was Libertarians

  • Damn right UBUICounterattack, most of these morons are disgruntled republicans who cannot accept that they lost

  • Thanks for your reply....The irony is that those morons think that there are pulling the wool over the common sense Americans. They are just displaying the typical loser syndrome.

  • Where did you get those numbers?

  • Millions and milllions of common sense Americans and all of the major news networks knew fuax news was promoting those tea-bag event for the GOP/conservatives. Which attracted 90% of McCain's voters.

FYI.....Ron Paul started the tax protest movement and faux news tried to steal his idea and claim that they just started a new grassroot movement, oops I meant a astrturf movement

  • Chris4400.......Unlike some people who's hooked on faux news and is sold on the rhetoric of "no facts Hannity, who just recite the news" "Bill O the clown aka Bill O'Reily, who doesn't allow his guess host to voice their opinion and get senrage when someone doesn't agree with him" and insane in the brain Glen Beck who has stopped his fake crying since the America people call him out on that fake shit.

I like to expand your mind and watch MSMBC, ABC, CBS, BCC, PBS and CNN

  • also in relation to the cost of living in different states, a doctor living in CA will make more than a doctor living in say montana or west virginia. even though they have the same job and have the same credentials. it's because of the cost of living in each states. CA for example has a min. wage of almost $10 an hour, as compared to new mexico who's min. wage is still around $6 an hour. statistics of states with avg income is of no relevance of anything. just cost of living, and real estate.

  • Having lived in the midwest, and now California, I know that it's pretty relative... things cost more in CA, and you make more. Things cost less in Missouri, and you make less. Relative.

  • exaclty i lived in cali my whole life and now i'm in virginia cuz of the marines, but yeah you can make less in some states but it doesn't matter. scouser691 was saying that republicans are poor and it's proven cuz states like CA are the richest, which really has nothing to do with anything.

  • just cuz liberal states like california for example earn more money than most states doesn't prove that liberals have it all figured out. all this proves is that there are more people in these states. look at the populations of those 8 out of 10 blue states that you were talking about. they prolly the most populateed states as well. correct me if i'm wrong. and your lowest 10 states are also some of the least developed states in the country. which means the property of housing i slower which

  • which means the price of housing is a lot lower which lowers the cost of living. the economy, i don't know if you know this or not, revolves around realestate. so people make less money but live just as comfortably. it doesn't mean they're poor. there house only cost 100 thousand as compared to 600 thousand like CA. also the same oppurtunites aren't in these states. entreprenuers take their business out of states. so these people are usually older or like farmers, etc. you misinterpret it all.

  • all democrats are going to be turned into an enemy in the minds of the people....then we shall engage in revolution to force the documents back to their just ,and badly needed home.

  • And as for shooting, you need to pay attention. You think your way of life is secure BECAUSE you don't have guns? Without the second amendment, none of the rest is enforceable. You have a decent standard of living because the government LETS you have one. What if they change their minds? Could you do anything about it? No, you would be forced to go along and shut up. THAT will not happen here. And THAT is why I call the gun haters cowards because you can't and won't stand up if needed.

  • Please don't take Peter's gun away. Shooting squirrels is the only thing that makes him feel like a man

  • LOL... don't thumbs down for that guys...lol... those lil' bastards were stealing my nuts so I GOTTA do sumthin'....*droooool*

Thanks for the injection of humor, I am sure you meant it as a put down to gun owners in general, that is the lib standard attack. Actually I teach SQL Server courses for a highly respected IT school in "flyover country" and I would match my IQ score against your any day. So you must think the founders were retards, too? If you are so afraid of guns, go to Canada, lol...

  • I don't give a crap about guns. Actually I support gun restriction solely of the fact that it pisses off dumb hillbills. IQ test, I would match my IQ against everyone of these teabaggers combined 700,000 multiplied by zero = zero. Have fun shooting squirrels in the fly over zone

  • Most of the Canadians: Your opinion does not matter. Enjoy your socialist ideas and make sure to call us when the terrorists come after you. As usual, America will rescue all of the cowards that are afraid to stand up against evil. This is part of what makes us great. Misery loves company and all of the socialist nations want us to be like them, to share in their misery. I will not sit idly by while Obama or anyone else steals my grandchildrens' money. All brave Canadians come on over.

  • america: more people in jail then the entire world combined, cant take care of its poor, cities are dying (ie detroit, cleveland, buffalo....), huge gun problem, katrina...should i go on..

canada has a high standard of living, low crime, low poverty, respect in world etc etc etc...

ill stay in canada while usa beats its chest saying its the best in the world, love it or leave it, blah blah...sure buddy, we are cowards while you guys are sheep who being pimped by their own govt.

  • U r right about crime. The demise of American families is terrible. No one accepts responsibility any more and wants to "get theirs" from others - in some form or fashion.

  • You miss the point. Some of us are not sheep. We are the backbone that supports the flaccid flesh of this country. Sure things seem nice there because the big trouble has not come yet. And I have dozens of friends who have fled the FAILED economic policies of socialized medicine, second rate universities (how many world famous ones?) and crazy taxes that give the average citizen a standard of living 20-30% below the one here in the US. Enjoy your great society, we will help when the commies come

  • read the stats. go to nasa. go to your tech companies. you guys IMPORT the best from the rest of the world. Your govt said attack afghanistan and you all followed blindly. your pres said go after saddam and you followed blindly. you guys say youre the GREATEST, but greatst at WHAT? making money, and thats it (even still its a small elite group that does). You guys are so quick to label things like healthcare and lowering taxes for poorer people as UNAMERICAN, just because thats what youre told.

  • as well, your country is not even 3 months into their new president and theyre already calling for seccesion. IDIOTS, is what you are. what happened to your so called patriotism? We got 30m people, you got 300 mil. keep thinking your better then us. the top 10 countries in stndrd of living all pay more tax so we can live better. you guys got ghetto after ghetto after ghetto there- yeah, we will be find and dandy when the 'commies' come. while you guys shoot the shit out of eachother, or secede.

  • You know what.... I cannot argue FOR the USA at this moment. You are RIGHT. The idiots HAVE taken over. The conservatives want it back. If that cannot happen then states that have the legal right to secede just might (like mine). Yes, we have ghettos where the liberals have the most influence. Guess where Obama won in Missouri? In the 3 biggest cities with the highest crime and biggest ghettos. No ghetto in my town but we are 85% conservative so we don't tolerate laziness, like many socialists

  • Funny, the 10 richest states in America are Blue states and 8 of the ten poorest states are red states. Best educated states are blue states too. Please secede and form your own backwards cultural wasteland. We can call you the fly over zone, Oh my mistake we already call you that don't we

  • Where do you get that statistic? Texas is the richest... RED. California is almost bankrupt... BLUE. Michigan leads the nation in unemployment... BLUE. Nevada is among the highest home foreclosure rates... BLUE. I live in NC. 3 years ago we were the number 3 best state in employment and economy. We're 17th now and uh oh... we're BLUE. West Virginia used to be 49th in economy and unemployment. They're number 14 now... RED. People are leaving New York, the land of taxes, by the droves... BLUE.

  • Median household income richest Maryland $65,144 New Jersey $64,470 Connecticut $63,422 Hawaii $61,160 Massachusetts $59,963 New Hampshire $59,683 Alaska $59,393 California $56,645 Virginia $56,277 Minnesota $54,023
  • Poorest New Mexico $40,629 Montana $40,627 Tennessee $40,315 Kentucky $39,372 Louisiana $39,337 Alabama $38,783 Oklahoma $38,770 Arkansas $36,599 West Virginia $35,059 Mississippi $34,473
  • Source : US census bureau

I do however stand corrected, Alaska is a red state which would make 9 out of 10 richest states blue. The nine poorest states in America are red states

  • By the way if you are judging richest by GSP (Gross state product) which is not a good indicator because it has less to do with earning power and more to do with population, even still California is #1 and 8 of the top 10 are blue states.

  • there's a simple explanation to that. blue states typically have major cities, which means more consumers. most entrenuers are conservatives and will start a business in an area where there's the most consumers. take california for example. there's LA, Anaheim, ontario, orange, brea, south coast, etc. All major cities of CA. most people who live in cities are liberals/blue state. they're the ones who buy most of the services that these small businesses offer. hence the economies of these states.

  • You're the wrong statistic to prove your point. Median family income has nothing to do with party affiliation. If you want to stick with that argument, then you actually prove my point. If states with a lower median family income are red, then their governments are run much more efficiently than governments in blue states. Red and Blue states shift during each given election. A red state in this past election might be blue in the next and vice versa. Look at the election map when Reagan won.

  • People in bloue states on average make more money than people in red states. People of a liberals mindset tend to earn more money because they are better educated. As your statement "If states with a lower median family income are red, then their governments are run much more efficiently than governments in blue states" So let me get this straight, the poorer you are the more efficient your local government is. Sounds like you are smoking the pipe there nagger

  • Dude, you're making an assumption based solely on this past election. Several of the states that you mention were red in previous elections. You can't associate red/blue states with education level either. Median income is most likely higher in states with a higher population or states with larger metropolitan areas. That has nothing to do with party affiliation. So by your logic the entire nation was uneducated and poor during the 1981 election when Reagan won by an overwhelming landslide?

  • African Americans were more motivated to vote than any time in history. But since AA's make up only 12% of the population, Obama needed independent votes. He got it because people were disenfranchised with Bush. How else would an inexperienced freshman senator with an abysmal voting record get elected? Now people see that he's radical left. He's already lost the majority of independents and if unemployment doesn't drop, he's finished. Obama himself says unemployment will pass 10% by 2010.

  • Damn dude you really take those radical right-wing talking points to heart. The Gop is pretty much through unless you can mine up some more bigotted backwood red staters or maybe some paranoid soccer mom or maybe some coded "real American" ala Palin wrapped in a confederate flag. You people forget that American is an always changing experiment. Most Americans don't want those "good ol' days" you guys speak of because for alot of us those days were not so good. I'll take Obama over Regan any day.
