Meh,I believe the first had slightly more comedic value,with DDS2 it's all 'bout HINDU HERMAPHRODITES!!!!

By the end,one of the characters (YOU KNOW WHO) constantly acts like Tea from YGOTAS,which greatly annoyed me.

Dds2 is way better than the first. Soundtrack, gameplay dept, storyline (huuuge improvement). However, if you're thinking about buying the second without playing most of the first you will be throwing your money to the garbage, because the game won't suck you in...Anyway, this one is great

This game is incredible I've had these two Digital Devil saga games for a long time the story line in part 1 was so griping that I could not wait for the sequal to come out cause it was so amazing.

This game was released in USa in 2005 and was just released in europe. It won't be able to find this game anyway in the usa.

I've completed both part 1 and 2 of the Digital Devil Saga series, it kicks ass if this series had the same ammount as the Final Fantasy series then Digital Devil Saga would be a no.1 RPG also the series would have been improved to.

This is my 2nd fave RPG series.

this game has one of the best storylines i've ever seen. it isn't as frustrating as what the reviews say it is. once you get the hang of it its pretty quick to get through random encounters and money.

i've almost completed the game except for beating Satan, the ultimate hidden boss in DDS2.

meh trust me its better than most rpgs cause this one is all sci-fi not the mythical type.

This game is better well if you play it english that is also the cell shading graphics are well done unlike the other Cellshaded games you see that have kiddy animation like the wind waker.

WTF are you talking about? Every enemy in the game except Atlus's mascot demons is a mythological entity. Every player character's avatar is a Hindu deity.

It is pretty unique, but it's a veneer of sci-fi over a core of mythology, though far truer to the origins than a Final Fantasy.

The 'Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner' series is about none of those things. I assume you mean the main series, but even then, it is about none of those things with the possible exception of nuclear war.
