That's the approach I took to the first FOP saga so I wanted to return to it. Waiting 4 this new episode has always drivin me crazy, but i guess in the end it'll all be worth it. These kind of DBZ fanfics have amazed and inspired me from the first time i started watching them. It's not a what if as much as it is an alternate reality. I originally wanted to have Kakarot, Bardock, Turles and Vegeta all fighting on one team. Piccolo is there for species diversity

I loved the humor, definitely keep that comedy in the eps they are always good. Non stop action, non stop talking, non stop anything is never entertaining. When you have an equal balance of each you have the best eps, this one had a bit too much talking and not enough action. Still fantastic, I thought Turles and Vegeta were Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker by the end of the vid. Great vids

I really like the whole show from season 1 ep.2 to this one. I think your editing skill for making crazy fight is over the top. I think you just had to make battle a little bit quicker (don't abuse looping ;) ). I Liked this episode for the humour but the battle were just too short. To finish, I think Tag/Team battle is more exciting than survival (1vs more). Thank you very much for that show and make a great end because it is the most important :p

U know, some people might think that you'd have heaps of subscribers... but, in my subscriptions, this has been up for 6 days and had 1,184 views, whereas another video has been up 4 days and had almost 200,000 views.

as much as I would love to enjoy that kind of success, I think the DBZ fanfic viewing audience is too small. If this was a full blown anime, then I could see that happening. I think the most popular/successful fanfic out there is A Link to the Smash, and even that doesn't get the success you're speaking of. I think the next step into making these more attractive would be effective voice acting... but thats another whole story.

Also, when I talked about A Link to the Smash being the most popular fanfic, I meant fanfics without voices. If you want to count voices, then there's Red vs Blue, which no doubt has the sort of success you're talking about. Several episodes are in the millions of views. Yeah, Halo does have a huge fanbase, but I don't know how entertaining Red vs Blue would be to watch with text.

This was pretty good, a bit slow with the King Vegeta and Turles conversation. In a way similar to the show lol. But, find a way to sum up the conversations so it can balance out with the action. Your editing skills with the fights was brilliant and can't wait for the next one in like 2 years :P.

great episode. I really liked the new fight direction as well as the plot devices that u used. definitely had a more unique feel to it and it showed. That said i do agree that the pacing could have been a bit better, but that doesnt mean i didnt like the story, because i really did think it had good development. Also not to mention great song choices as usual, im pretty sure i heard some chrono trigger along with tales of vesperia of course. anyway, good stuff

I liked how you made King Vegeta into more a special-attack specialist...but...well, you know. Shame we won't be seeing him anymore. Or will we...?

pretty good way of doing a fanfic dude!! the only thing is well im sure u get this a lot but dont overdue it with the conversations. Afterall DBZ was made for its awesome action. Other than that a pretty good balance of fight scenes and conversations and always refreshing to watch something like these.

Ah, finally the next installment. This was really good but there are a few things I'd like to note. Firstly, the fight scenes were all good and amazingly well done. I especially like how you mixed in other characters Rushes to make for a more epic fight, real nice. And I do like that you took some time to add in some good character development but it was a bit dragged out. Mostly I had enough time to read their lines 3 times over before I saw the next one so that needs to be speed up a bit.

@Xaldin007 Another thing is that they used some phrases a bit too often. I most have seen "Don't get sappy" five times. But aside for that I enjoyed the dialogue and the new layout for the text. I liked the "no homo" pun as well. I'm assuming you got that from the Boondocks. :P

Overall, it was a solid 8/10 performance. You still easily have the best fanfics, even after years of not working on them.

Great job Fabien, this episode perfectly embodies character development at its very best which made me actually care about their involvement in the plot to a much greater level. The fight scenes were very creative and unique which ensured each encounter was varied, dialogue was top notch and the level of ideas was pretty good with some nice elements of humour. Some issues would be the pacing but other than that it was an excellent demonstration of a fanfic breaking the mould. good job

it wasn't bad but in your effort to try something different, you've reached the other extreme.

the drama and plot exposition was too heavy and i was starting to get bored waiting for SOMETHING to happen. seriously, Bardock and Vegeta Sr. spent most of the episode just standing there TALKING.

Dragonball is supposed to be about action. while the fight against the few androids was good, it took too long to actually GET there.

long story short, the pace needs to be quicker.
