We give the patient an option of whether they want to wear on or not. The amount of radiation from a digital xray is less than spending a day out in the sunshine. We do make them available but sometimes it is too heavy for them to wear. Since digital xrays require about 25% of the radiation there is little effect. I have a question about taking x-ray. It's looks like Chris doesn't have any protection from radiation. Is it safe ?How does it work?:)
