It's all up to how you train it from a young age. Mine has no problems being home, though he can bark if someone is on the property or the door bell rings. And cats is not welcome here either =P

It's a terrier, so the dog is a bit stubborn, but the wheaten is known as one of the kindest terrier breeds.

I've had several wheatens in the past and they rub against things like that because their ears hurt or itch. =( It may be cute but to people that know about Wheatens its also sometimes sad..

The one draw back is the snow gets all on there coat. :( But on the other hand it's funny seeing them in the snow. :)

I have a wheaten terrier as well. His name is Whiskey and he is 10 years old. He loves playing in the snow as well :)

I love Wheatens! We have an adult that acts just like yours. LoL, and she had 5 puppies 10 weeks ago. We have 3 left. One is ours and one is the studs. The other is for sale. WHEATENS!
