i have just watchd it and the movie is ok, the lighting is very similar to the 03 remake of texas chainsaw as its the same director...parts are taken from all the first 4 friday the 13ths, for example theres the pamela voorhees beheading(part 1), jason with the bag on his head(part 2), the barn where jason is hung(part 3) and then when jason jumps thru the window and trys to grab tommy, that is recreated(part 4), jason dies by a machette to the chest and a hanging but he comes back at the end!

Yeah, and the thing with these movies are.

There are no strong and important story whatsoever, just about seeing Jason revives and showing of his strength killing ppl.

That's all it needs and why they can make more and more without making it look bad.

Well... except for part 9 that is... Geez :(

Yeah calm down. The reason anyone makes remakes or anything like that is because people eventually get bored watching the same movie over and over again and like to see more. Like the Halloween movie, people love Michael Myers and needed to see more of him, same with Jason.

which one is this suppose to be a remake of.cause he doesnt begin wearing a hockey mask till number III... but he is also hit in the head w/ an axe leaving the well known axe mark at the end of that movie.... then final chapter comes immediatlly after that where he dies and is burried untill being revived by tommy jarvis. hence after being burried for so long he losses all his hair, but in this scene he has no axe mark but plenty of hair. SO this must be a III remake???????
