i have a Concours Limited Edition bently, a 57s maybach, and 09 phantom.Put it this way for all who dont get a chance to own/drive these cars, i gave my wife the bently and my brother drives the maybach. and i bought another phantom because it breaks down alot more then youd think. but NO ONE TOUCHES MY PHANTOMS!!!!! Maybach is the clear winner for interior luxury in my opinion, offering fully reclining backseats. The only thing holding Maybach back is its exterior is way too ordinary looking for such an elite and expensive car. Maybe some rich elite like its low profile appearance, but if I wanted to be noticed, I'd choose the Rolls Royce hands down. The Rolls has such a bold presence cruising down the street.

I remember a staff member, from Businessweek years ago, who did a little test by driving it through drive thrus, Walmart parking lots, and other places for the 'common' people and there was little to no stare/'awe' from the average joe. So, that's just a warning if you try to do it.

@patob91 I think the owner of Shell has a Rolls and a Maybach, so if he get's back from work and he has to work he can sit in his luxury Maybach, and when he has to go to a press conference he'll go in his rolls, to be noticed.

So if you buy a Maybach, you don't give a crap about it's looks, you just want to work quietly and enjoy a wine while driving, whilst when you don't want to just sit in luxury and drive a good looking car you'd buy the Rolls. Then again those people can buy both. :p

I personally love my Rolls-Royce. I have it customized for 24 Karat Gold on the grille and the Flying Lady of Ecstasy. It is a matted finish. Simply elegant.

the problem with maybachs is that mercedes cars havn't used real wood for year whilst rolls royce and bentley do. Then again a lot of expensive cars don't use real wood like bmw mercedes lexus etc it just tacky when with the price you pay for them you can afford real wood

Are you crazy? Comfort goes to Maybach 100%. Do you know how comfortable it is? Although I would get a Bentley instead because I like driving in a comfortable car instead of riding in one, the Maybach is more comfortable than an expensive matress.
