  • Good effort. I applaud your performance and welcome and admire you courage to post this on You Tube. However, in my opinion this lovely poem was recited (or read) much too fast. More expression and intonation was needed and many of the beautiful poetic words and phrases were lost because they were not articulated clearly. It could have been read with much more meaning and effect or impact.

  • This was wonderful

  • Its a compliment gdzgrl ! Smile when you grandpa says it. :-)

hmm... I never knew there was a poem called Annabel Lee... my grandpa always calls me Annabel Lee (my name is Anna)

  • To ---- I heed not that my early lot hath little of earth in it- That years of love have been forgot in the hatred of a minute:- I mourn not that the desolate are happier, sweet, than I, but that you sorrow for my fate who am a passer by. by Edgar Allan Poe I just thought I'd send one back, lol. I love Poe's poems. (Annabelle Lee is a GOOD one.) My favorite is "Bridal Ballad"
