I'm so intrigued right now about Korean Actresses committing suicide.. Choi Jin Sil is suppose to be 39 right now... she started acting at 20. She only had one dream before, to become a STAR to survive poverty... she got her dream and she became a high paid actress and model... but I guess that's not enough... This is so sad.... Money and Fame are not the only source of happiness... She went through a lot in her life -- and I have no judgment about her. I HOPE SHE'S IN HEAVEN and HAPPY

well she was depressed and we don't know what went through her mind. Sometimes depressed people feel like they don't belong here and they are no use to anyone and she might have thought her kids would be better off without her, And the internet rumours, maybe she felt she brought shame to them. I feel sorry for the kids, but also for her... She must have been in so much pain. Suicide is not something u do just like that, she had been thinking about that for a long time I'm sure.

@nunoteamo She's gone now. I have depression too. My life depends on medication or I would have done the same. It's chemical stuff that does this to you nerve. You can't control it unless you go to see a doctor and take medicine. It's sad that a lot of people don't pay attention to this. my parents thought me since my childhood that commiting suicide is not onyl a simple sin.. its like one of the heaviest kind of sins :( ofcourse, abortion is included.. yeah its really a big sin when you talk about suicide..

Suicide is a sin in the Christian religion only if a person intentionally commits a suicide with a normal mental state and with malice aforethought. The Bible says that we examine the mental state of the person who committed killing to determine whether the person is a murderer. Suicide due to depression is a death of a very serious disease, not an intentional, deliberate murder with malice aforethought. I'm not endorsing suicide but I can't call someone a sinner when she is not a sinner.
