  • pretty cool daddy oo!! iam an old timer at 55 just starting and nice playin!hope the young kids get some blues behind them !aghhhhh who am i kidding!

  • very cool licks. just wondering though, if your going to jump two frets up why not just start the lick with your fourth finger (pinky)?

  • @Stephonas626

Yep! ya got me there, I use my pinky more for fast scale type runs, where the left hand is in more of a classical position, -- in bluesy pentatonic stuff its more of a base ball bat grip on the neck and I can get more power into string bends and vibrato with my third finger leaving the pinky available for double stops. I can use my pinky --- honest!!!!

  • Amazing how sweat a FEW notes make. Many of those that shred should take NOTE.

  • forget it!!!!! i found them... cool!!!!

  • I'm an intermediate to advanced player and your lesson was very helpful. I'm always looking to advance my arsenal of licks so to speak and I'm already using them with other licks. Definitely one of the better lessons on here. Thank you very much.

    Matthew from Pennsylvania.
