@DualMaverick You don't need any special ROMs - use the SNES ROMs you already have! ;)

Just get the Snesoid app from the marketplace and put the roms on your phone

i've downloaded the SNES emulator, the lite version, and it does not come out full screen like you have on your video. all the videos i've seen on youtube show a full screen. i've checked the settings and the full screen option is checked, but it still doesnt change anything. is that because i have a lite version emulator, the rom, or something else?

Im thinking about getting this phone but I like the google nexus 1 also. One of the advantages of the droid (i think) is the directional pad for gaming. Can you please tell me if the dpad on the droid is better than touchscreen controls when playing snes games? I have the G1 but cant play games without a dpad. Pls reply.

Touchscreen sucks, Ive tried it on my Droid by disabling the keyboard controls. The dpad is great for these games. I play them all the time.

GSPwner, I dl'd the lite snes app from marketplace. When I launch any game using that app, the sounds are very crackly. Do you think it's because of the lite app?

Its hard to say, it might be the Roms. I have craciling on just one of my games which is Toy Story but its not too bad its just on the start up. The others work just fine. Also since Ive gotten the Snesoid its received 3 updates, dont know if the light version has also.

Wouldn't it be cool if ithad a nice playstation dpad on the left instead of that crappy keyboard. For most games it's better than touch screen, but if the kb sucks it doesnt really help. A nice dpad would be like a freakin' psp phone. The new droid phones a probably faster than a real snes so we need real controls :)
