Jill knitted that pink blanket when she was pregnant with Mark because she was hoping for a girl. Jill, that's why you find out if it's a boy or girl before you do stuff like that. I know some people want to be surprised and wait till the baby's born, but if you find out the sex/gender ahead of time, you'll have the right clothes and toys by the time the baby's born, not to mention you'll have an easier time on deciding names.
