  • Yeah what was I thinking??? The dog AND the girl are very cute. Your beagle is very talented. My pup beagle knows a ton of tricks but he's too spoiled (fat) to do some of yours!! Very nice and sorry for the negative comment!! BEAGLES RULE and other dogs drool!!!!

  • I think I just fell in love!

  • great job ! with a beagle that's really amazing :D

  • WOW. Awesome work from the two of you. I was trying to find the song cause I typed in Michael Buble but it doesn't show it. If you could please share it that would be great. Keep up the wonderful work and all the fun you both seem to have.

  • Great work! I also plan on getting a Lemon Beagle for training complex tricks. On a scale from one to ten, how fast would you say Beagles learn tricks? Are female Beagles better at learning tricks than males?

Keep up the good work with your Lemon Beagle. You two are doing a great job.

  • @DoggieDoubles

females are usually more attached to their people while males are supposed to be more independent, but that's not always true. The most important thing is the bond between you and the dog, if you have a nice relationship everything else is easy. Beagles are really smart, they learn incredibly fast, but it's not always easy to motivate them. Luckily they love food, which makes training easier, LOL! Good luck with your future pup, lemon beagles are fantastic :)

  • @xsarcika Thanks for the tips and info! I could send you some videos of my Lemon Beagle's tricks when I get him; hopefully he'll be just as smart as Xsara!

  • Although most of the tricks were lame except a few, I think you earn 5 stars because of the bond you have with your puppy!!! Very heartwarming!!!!

  • @watertownfddotcom HOW WERE THOSE LAME??? why don't you try to teach your dog how to do those tricks? that takes alot of skill

  • your Beagle is soooooooo nice ^^

  • very nice

  • Trying to teach the weaving with the dog going backwards at the moment, my dog will go back through my legs but how do you string it all together, i find it hard to even do 2 steps

  • how old was she? that was amazing!

  • she was 3 when we filmed this, now she is 5 :)

  • how did you get your dog to do these tricks? How long did it take

  • How did you train her Handstand?!

  • great training I love your beagle oh and by the way what is the song you use in the video?

  • hand stand was so cool

  • OH MY GOD...

You should like go on Animal Planet or something because that's incredible!! If you have any trick to it please respond! I have a beagle named Buster who is just a goofball... So if you can please respond and tell me how you did that! Beautiful beagle, couldn't have found a better one. =D

Best of luck to you and Xsara! (how do you pronounce it?XD)

May your lifes be filled with joy! =)

  • EXCELLENT TEACHING METHOD. I LOVE BEAGLES>>> Please urge all to use healthy treats!! I see people over-treat their pets with treats that are not healthy for them. I recently had to put Max (my beagle-blue-tck mix) down after he had spinal problems...though only 5 yrs old! I really miss him. Hope to get another one later when I am ready! GOOD VIDEO! YOUR DOG IS SO LUCKY TO HAVE SUCH A WONDERFUL OWNER!!

  • What a wonderful friend you have there! Great job! I have a 4 month old I am just starting to train.

  • OMG!""" how did you teach her so good?!?!?!?

  • amazing.

but drink? how is that a trick

  • teaching her to drink on a command is actually one of the most useful things i've taught her so far. she doesn't drink much by herself and sometimes it's easier this way (when it's very hot or after training). also once we avoided needing infusion thanks to this trick.

  • Wow! You're a great trainer!!! I have a Beagle, too but he doesn't know half the tricks that your Beagle does, but we do agility and we're actually ok at it!

  • Loce the peek-a-boo!

  • Excellent job, guys!!!and I love your tricks video's. I have started doing tricks with my Beagle, Zeus, and boy...you just got to have lots of food in your hand, like you have, and they will show you the world. I am going to "steal" some of your tricks and we hope to show them to you one day.keep those video's coming, guys!!!

    Regards,

Dorothé and Zeus from Costa Rica..

  • I hope to see your tricks videos really soon! Have a lot of fun working with your dog,

    best regards, B&X

  • Beagle tun für Futter (fast) alles...-wirklich gut geworden!!

  • wow nice

u must be a skilled trainer

can i ask what u give him everytime you reward him?

  • Thanks - I'm actually a beginner, Xsara is my first and for now, my only dog.

I reward her with normal dry dog food (high quality brand, of course).

  • I LOVE IT!!!!!!

  • you are a great trainer

  • haha pik-a-boo, funny

  • Beagles are genius and hitting their interest level is where training starts!

I run our 3y/o beagle in agility and she is doing fantastic! You have to prove to the beagle that your ideas are probably more fun than their own. Also they are the number one capitolist breed. Work for food!

  • I couldn't agree more!

  • I love the jump through trick using your leg!!!

  • thank you and please post more!

  • thanks :)

beagles are far from being stupid, they are amazingly smart but very stubborn so you need a lot of patience with them. I started the basic groundwork with Xsara the first day she came to my home (commands like sit, leave it - take it and so on). She used to be a big destroyer so I had to find a way to occupy her mind, keep her busy. Doing tricks also helps us to understand each other better - and of course, it's really fun!

  • i just got a baby beagle someone told me they are stupid dogs seeing your video i know they are not how old do you start teaching them tricks her name is maggie she is 2 months you have a beautiful dog

  • Very good video!! The music fits very well :) I finally taught Jesse to hand stand, Great Job!! 5 stars!!

  • Your videos make me smile! What a beautiful dog! How did you teach the handstand?

    Ashley and Kaine

  • Fantastic!! :))

  • First of all: thank you :)

I mostly use words and very few hand signals - they are of no particular type. Before I start teaching a trick I decide how I'm going to call it and how I am going to make her do a certain behaviour. I add the word in the last step of teaching a trick.

  • Did you use words to teach xsara these tricks or hand signals? If hand signals, which types? Great video!

  • this was waaaay too precious. almost had me in tears =] the song was perfect!

  • Really nice teamwork! Xsara is darling. I'm going to teach my beagles peek-a-boo now that I've seen this!

  • Fantastic! I love to watch this videos!

  • She doesn't run away because I keep food in my pockets :)

  • how do you manage to keep your dog from running away? my beagle has a complete mind of his own, i don't think i'll ever be able to trust him off leash like that!

  • Awesome vid, awesome training

    5 stars!

  • tery0469 completely agree!!!;)

  • OMG, awsome! :O You're very good ;D

  • Amazing :)
