This video was shot on an Island called Cayman Brac, One of the sister Islands of Grand Cayman. The ship you see was built in 1984 as a Russian missile frigate, destroyer 356 was assigned to the Caribbean as part of the Soviet Union’s Atlantic Fleet. It operated out of Cuba for years, before being retired. In the spring of 1998, the aging warship was purchased by the Cayman Islands Government and then towed from Cuba to Cayman Brac to be sunk as an artificial reef. Thanks for sharing Brian, Phil

Now I know where that bike came from! Found it the next day & did a 30 minute shoot (Goodwins on cameras) in the style of ET, floating over the wreck instead of trying to ride it on the wreck or bottom. My profile pic is me on that bike hovering over the aft gun turret. Trying to pedal it hovering in the water column, reg out to smile for the camera was a bit of a challenge & a good workout.. With 40lbs of extra buoyancy in the BC to lift the bike, let go & you're on the surface in seconds..

Hey how hard is it to pedal underwater i mean obviously your problem down there was traction. But is the actual act of pedaling difficult underwater? any info would be a great help.

on a normal bike yes, air in tires pushes bike up from bottom and it tries to flip over
