check the skid pad #s for any model mustang (or cobra) it should be around 0.88-0.95 dependin on the year....need i remind you theses cars use live axel, not independents like most newer cars yet they still performe well above standard....the main problem with a live axel is wheel hope= bad straight line...however thats null and void when comparing turning grip!!!!

My mach1 has a 53/47 weight ratio with a full tank. with minor mods to the rear suspension i can out handle plenty of cars. you may not realize but solid axles can be made to handle really well. considering the 2010 mustang with the track pack out handled the Camaro and Challenger, given the fact it is lighter but still its a solid axle, it shouldnt be able to do that right? fords doin great with old technology.

where did you get your curb weight from? the 05-09 Mustang GT is more around 3,500lbs. considering my car is smaller than it and it weighs about that.
C'mon... unless you own a Cobra, a Mustang is so overrated. I mean just look at the statistics of modern mustangs.(2009-2010) The V6 Mustang produces 5 more HP then an I4 2.5 Acura TSX. The 4.6 V8 engine Mustang produces 20 LESS HP then a V6 3.7 G37. And quite honestly, that Evo would rape any Mustang on a racetrack (even the new GT500) as long as you have a proper driver who knows how to deal with its incredible turbo lag. My friends and I meet for breakfast on the morning of a car show then we caravan down one of the Florida interstates...6-7 of us in all supercharged/nitrous powered mustangs. One early Sunday am about 6:30 we were able to keep it in triple digits for over 20 minutes. That was an experience I would imagine the people we passed were not soon to forget.
