@bombermail Removes a tear off visor strip, they have a few of these on top of their visors at the start of the race, removing them as vision gets worse with splattered insects and the like. Its a good idea to see clearly at 180/190mph on closed roads circuit!

When I was young, probably about four and up till I was about ten I was taken to the Isle of Man every year for the TT races, September so I think it was the Senior races. We used to stay at Howstrake Holiday Camp - does anyone remember it? I used to love my holidays there, we'd get the ferry over there but they always syphoned the petrol out of all the cars and bikes and were lifted onto the ferry. It was a hell of a time consuming effort.
