Oak bark in 90% alcohol is a cure to chiggers. It will heal the chigger bites overnight if the bark has been soaking in the alcohol until rich dark red color (average 3 months to one year).
not all acorns are high in oil content. Laurel and Live oils has extreme oily content and can turn driveways into oil slicks when run over with a car. You will have to filter out the water from the oil. Use oil for soaps, lotions, cooking oil, laterns, etc.
