I have copies of all of those and books on them as well. I have studied these documents well; with my degree in Criminal Justice i got a whole semester in constitutional law & then some. These courses were taught by lawyers. as for god being a part of government he was there up until the 1960s that is when it really started to change. Also Part of our laws were based on the 10 commandments. I learned that from a California judge. go learn about religions as well & really religion back then.

The only critique is the fact that after seeing through the left right paradigm the next thing people finally break down is statism in general. I have copies of all of those and books on them as well. I have studied these documents well; with my degree in Criminal Justice i got a whole semester in constitutional law & then some. These courses were taught by lawyers. as for god being a part of government he was there up until the 1960s that is when it really started to change. Also Part of our laws were based on the 10 commandments. I learned that from a California judge. go learn about religions as well & really religion back then.

as for the knowing the constitution better than the supreme court does not surprise me there are there to help keep politician in check instead they work with them to pick it apart. I am not a religious zealot i really dislike organized religion. I am pagan for one, But i can still admit to the things that I do not agree with. Learn your history read a history books printed before 1960 where they were very boring & fact based. You might be surprised to find out a few things.

Last I checked when reading personal entries to their journals and also reading public statements or letters to friends there is ample mention of God, Christ, our Lord and Saviour.......hmmmm sounds pretty Christian to me!
On our money it states "In God We Trust"....that's a pretty Christian thing to place on our currency!

Some were Jewish, half were probably Christians, and many, if not most, of those who signed the founding documents were Deists and Unitarians (NON-CHRISTIANS). And when these founders mention god, they aren't talking about the Christian God. They are talking about one they also referred to as "The Great Clock Maker", "Nature's God", "The Creator", etc.
The founders never saw "in god we trust" on money It was added later by nutjobs

I'm a long-time libertarian activist and I've served on the California executive committee, was chairman my county, & ran for congress against Maxine Waters. I've met Ron Paul several times & had dinner with him. He's delightful, but until he leaves the Republican party, he's spinning his wheels. I will never vote for a Republican. They are even worse than Democrats.

@firenight83 I know ALL parts of the Constitution better than anyone who has served on the Supreme Court in the last century. The founding documents are monuments to the separation of church and state. Neither of them make any mention of the Christian god whatsoever. The phrase "separation of church and state" need not appear in the Constitution to be a part of it. The terms "right to privacy" & "Bill of Rights" don't appear either, but few would be stupid enough to claim they aren't part of it
