The Gallardo gets some some switches and the aircon from the suppliers of audi, that is for cost reduction, did undoubtedly hurt Lamborghinis image but doesn't make it no more a german car then a Fiat. In fact the audi R8 uses a transaxle which was developed and is produced entirely in St.Agata. Lamborghini is now no more german then it was american under the Chrysler ownership.
