I would never feed an animal to another animal ide feed it eggs and hoppers instead.

awesome! yeah gopher snakes are mostly friendly if you handle them if you dont they might start getting protective and biting, thats what mine did because i didnt have time to handle it, but they can also grow to be HUGE! my mom saw one stretched out across the street she was about to turn around and get it until a car ran it over lol thats sad
it probably wont eat crickets, you should probably feed it 2 hoppers (like baby mice that are already jumping around) they arent too big so yeah get 2 and feed your snake 2 hoppers every 2 weeks
you can get it alive from a pet shop or do what i do, i have a girl rat and a boy rat, and they can mate and have babies you can feed to the snake, feed it 1 pinky every 2 weeks or if its a really small one then you could probably give it 2
