  • Ha I know him too, as a matter of fact...I saw him iceskate - he's a better guitar player. Tony: I miss seeing you w/ The Press!

  • Yeahhhhh Tony!!!

    Ha I know this guy!

  • Cantaloupe Island is a fav

amongst alot of guitarist - just feels good.

  • thats a yamaha jazz box?

  • No that's his Les Paul custom I think it's a Howard Roberts Model. H.R. was a great jazz player and Gibson built it to his specs.

  • Druman, the piece is called "Cantaloupe Island". And the guitarist is NUTS, man.

  • I think he's playing a Gibson 335 but I could be wrong. Whatever he's using, he is amazing. I like other stuff as well, but when I want to be impressed he could take care of that need. Damn. Thanks for posting Druman44 good stuff.

  • the es-335 has the pickup switch on the lower right bout, not the upper left and has a double cutaway, not a single. good guess though! i think it's one of the Gretsch G series guitars, somehwere in the 5000s, maybe 5220.

  • You know I noticed that it looked as if it was almost Les Paul looking with the single cut but it had a hollow body and most of the video is dark. I emailed him and if he gets back to me I'll know for sure. He went to G.I.T. where he was voted guitar played of the year and as a part of that he was given a gibson Howard Roberts fusion guitar it could be that one. Anyway Thanks.

  • Hey I got a reply from Tony. What a nice guy. It is a Les Paul custum he also has a blackmore strat. Playing it through a as he says"Cheap yamaha jazz box (borowed) and a fender devill 4 tens and a pod xt live. That's how he gets his sound.

  • what guitar does tony play? its beautiful and sounds awesome

  • (see what i said to Donical).

  • Holy carp... How is it that unbelievable players like this are not more well known.. Just great~

  • this is simply amazing
