x2 the slp is the sound for a 4th gen f-body :) but flowmaster is the sound for a ford 5.0 thats for sure :) i got 40 series 3 inch on my 349 (its 40 over instead of 30) :) and that bad boy sounds bad ass and if u dont believe i will make a vid to prove it :)

im 16 just got a 86 5.0 for my birthday. car is bone stock, tryin to figure out what exhaust setup i should get...i want it LOUD!!!. any suggestions?

i got a 1986 351 windsor swap. ill get my licence in about a month or so. it has mufflers but if u want it loud like mine will be. just put straight pipes on it or get open headers. but open headers are illegal in alot of states. but i dont think cops would care as long as it isnt super loud.

i've owned 6 mustangs and the 1st thing i did besides gears is a 5 lug conversion, its not as xpensive as people think. i hate looking at nice stangs but u look at the wheels n c 4 lugs. what was ford thinking?

slp and magnaflow are to xpensive, i have n 88gt. i bought a bbk x-pipe, flowmaster and bbk headers for less than 750 dollars. plus slp jump on the mustang band wagon after mainly making products for corvettes and camaro's.

Eh... BBK headers: $179.99, BBK Off Road X Pipe: $179.99, SLP Loudmouth Cat back: $490.43, Awesome: $830.41. I'll pay the extra hundred bucks for the sound. Flowmasters are soooo generic sounding.

Yeah alot of people like slp LM's. I think it makes cars sound like hillbilly trucks. Not starting shit, everbody has their favorites. I like the sound of chambered mufflers on mustangs. Your car looks clean!!

nice mustang man very clean i like it and the slp's sound better then the flowmasters but i like mac better. love the rims and brakes on it.
