@beergut111 if you compare it to every other live or studio performance then it is a mistake! unless he did it on purpose, but if you didn't notice, he keeps playing the kick on 1 and 3 and snare on 2 and 4 with eighth notes on the hi-hats through the E riff during the solo when usually he does an off beat groove thing there. no big deal tho! lol

I just lost a freind over this, I sent him "Go Down" with Johnson singing. He said , BRIAN SUCKS!!!! ANd we both mutually are and always be Bon fans, however it is GREAT to dee Brian SEE these old Bon CLassics not to mention Go Down probably was never even played live by AC/DC. I thought he would appreciate it, he told me I was a Phucking idiot.

There's no point in comparing the singers... it's a completely different take on Young Brothers' guitars. Both great.  I think both are inspired by the british glam rock from the 70s (Slade, The Sweet) and power blues (Blue Cheer, Cream, Creedence Clearwater)... but they use different singing techniques - and I also think Bon's song may sound better with his vocals because he wrote them - he would not have singed Shook me all night long the way Brian does.

No, I don't think that you sound pompus at all! But I might say that those artists you mentioned apply more to the guitars and overall sound than vocals. Maybe you meant that, my typing had double meaning. But I actually was talking about vocal approach. I couldn't agree with you more when it comes to the guitars. It's just right on the spot.

no man, they were just getting started, look at the huge crowd they are getting, i wanna bet bon never survived all this, when they were getting big, he died, probably it was to much for bon, they might ended in the 80s if they didnt found Brian he does it great:D he made ac/dc what they are today! and he still sings songs of bon to show people how great the songs are, (sorry forbad english i am dutch)

Yea, in the TRE tour, they had a more heavy sound that wouldn't have worked. That's why I like Brian's recent voice, it's better for bluesy stuff like Powerage songs.
