hey you mentioned that you got a letter from brownstein so you can change your marker. I was wondering if all you need is top surgery to change it or if thats just a cali thing cause im from detroit and what ive heard here is you need a letter of proof of SRS also. I also had surgery with brownstein and if thats the case that would be the happiest fuCking news in the world! By the way, you look good bro. Get back at me if you could either on here or myspace. (search Shawn Cole) Thanks SO much!!!
We have tons of stuff in common dude. I also have suffered from an eating disorder for many years. I am now looking into getting on T. Chest surgery will be in quite a long time for me because of moola shortage. But I just wanted to let you know that your videos rock!!
I'm amazed you have to publish your gender change in the paper. That's bizarre on many levels. Also, I know all the physical and emotional changes are putting you through tough times, so just know I'm here if you need to vent. I'll happily listen in person, over the phone, email, etc.
It's where the skin comes together under my arms and puckers over like a dogs ear. In my next video I will show them cuz each time I have tried on here the camera wasn't low enough. I need to return your call huh?! :)
I feel ya on the shots in the leg...there is no rhyme to when or where it will hurt. I've found though that if you inject in the upper thigh (bout 6" from top of leg) just outside of the center line, is less painful. Helps to pull skin tight just B4 inject too. Also breathe out. RE: weight - I gained 10 lbs in 2 mo. but it seemed to B all muscle. No other visual differences. Don't watch #s. Look at ur body and how it feels. props!
Totally feel you on the shyness. I am the same. I try not to appear shy when in public but sometimes I just can't help it and I think the inconsistency just makes me appear standoffish and even rude. So I constantly feel misunderstood, and that's aside from the gender dysphoria.
ok ok ok, doing your own hair, how do you do that perfect fade? i have been doing mine for years, but can not manage the perfection that you wear so well. props dude.
Who does your hair? It's always perfect and looks really good. I've never seen you with a bad hair day haha. And I'm really proud of you for staying strong after the whole "weighing yourself" thing. I don't have any idea how hard it must be, but I have to give you props. Your chest looks great by the way. Hope all is well. Take care! =]
I recently fired my entourage, so now I do my own hair :) Seriously though, thanks for the compliment. I intentionally never do a video with bed head. There have been a couple of times that I had to put a hat on in order to maintain my record.
Hey, sittin' around flexing your muscles is one of those "guy" things -- you have to do that, my friend.
Also, regarding the card at the movies, have you already changed the names on your credit cards? I mean, if he saw your birth name on that, he just reacted and said ma'am.
Thanks. The whole public annoucement for chaning my gender marker is an annoyance, not a concern. Although it isn't anyone's business, I don't really care who knows. The town I live in a pretty small, so honestly most people already know :)
great vid your chest looks great. that really sucks about the newspaper thing because its no ones business that your changing your gender marker. Have fun at pride. Your looking good for two months on T. I cant wait to start
Those grafts look great! Here's hoping my own will look that good. As far as the gauze is concerned: wear a wifebeater under the T-shirt. They're generally light-weight, so if it's warmer where you live it won't add that much 'warmth,' if any.
I enjoi watching your videos..although i'm not going through transition...i am referred to as male 70% of the time. I use to get offended when they called me male, now its complimentary.. crazy,
but um yeah..lol but YOU look great man... See ya AT PRIDE.. wooohooo
Also, thanks for talking about eating disorder recovery and transitioning. The weight gain has been challenging for me, as well (I had anorexia in high school, which was quite some time ago now, but still). Even though the changes from T are overwhelmingly positive and welcomed, it's still hard to be unable to control/predict those changes, so any body image stuff is bound to come up. Sounds like you're on top of things, though.
People have told me that they have switched to small needles and/or started injecting in the ass when it starts getting painful. I'm still injecting in the thigh, which is probably not going to get any more comfortable. I think I'm going to try an ass shot today, if I can contort myself into the proper position.
muscle weighs a lot so an increase in number weight most likely has to do with them--esp hearing your comment amount your bicep. When i started lifting and working out my number weigh flew up it was a huge trigger for me and still is
sometimes when your muscles get stronger, the shot hurts a little more. i've got fairly good thick muscles and i had to get used to the little pinch when it goes in the muscle. you'll get used to it if that's the case.
I think that the whole newspaper posting is complete bullshit. I hope that Florida doesn't require that. You're lookin good man, and so is your chest. :)
Maybe your needle was near a nerve? I am glad your doing well after the surgery! I told my partner to remind me when I was acting like a teenager. lol

Ah, the fade. In my experience, male hair cutters are better at the fade than women. So my man Zane does my hair for me.

I'm not job hunting. I have no plans of working until I am done with my graduate work in June 2010.

That would make sense, except my legal name is Aydin.
33Aydin 3 years ago
Hey Aydin! Yr voice has def dropped.
Also, it's probably the muscle mass leading to the increase in weight.
Your grafts look amazing!
Congrats on the gender marker, it seems crazy you have to do it so publicly though :-/
Take it easy!

I like a good amount of weight on men; it's very attractive. It makes me feel safe around them and it's just a good thing. I can't explain in.

For so many years I've felt like I had to wear 2 shirts that I am refusing to do so now that I've had surgery...it's my own personal protest :)
