What's the difference between FL and Cubase and this?

Cubase is same to Windows as Logic to MAC. Besides there are some others eg FL or Reason. But without much differences, choice is up to your style. Cubase and Logic are allrounder. Reason and FL are based on electro/house/hip-hop and so on.

before logic pro become only macintosh it was formerly known as emagic. Since windows was a tad bit more abundant and less pricy, emagic was made for windows. But about 2004 it was simply mac.

Emagic was the brand, Logic the product name. Emagic produced software for both windows and macintosh, including Logic Audio and SoundDiver, even a few hardware devices were available (midi interfaces). :)

Hey JayB... Man, you know your stuff... Sorry for the really stupid dumb question but how do you make your software and hardware tun together? I know one is suppose to use Midi cables and that but can actually break it down for me? Again sorry for the basic noob question. P.S. - Great track especially the synth (saw) lead.

Indeed, I use MIDI to send the notes to my synths and the synths are connected to a mixer and its output goes back into my soundcard where the ASIO input is waiting. The latency is adjusted by Logic's MIDI delay (which can also be negative).

Hey JayB is your output from the mixer- audio or firewire? I have a MOTU system I'm trying to put together with logic.... latency is terrible.... I could go out midi then in 1/4in audio patch bay??? (no mixer?).. awesome music... I'm hooked. where can I buy?

It's an analog audio connection. I've got a latency of about 40 ms in the input, but I got used to it, when playing sequences live. And Logic has great delaying functions so in the end you don't it.

The idea of your song is good, but it sounds too cliche overall and euphoric for my personal taste(guitar, piano etc). I like more progressive/dark trance like Narthex - Bully (it'son you youtube).

Also the sample which kicks in at 0:31 really sounds bad, both the sample by itself and the notes you use. The higher note makes it sound cheesy. But again, this is not my kinda of trance, but you did a good job creating this.
