  • amazingly BEAUTIFUL sound !! makes you wanna be grateful to be alliivee :D !!

  • Whoever says that this is not Trance... has no idea what the fuck they are talking.

Straight up, one of the best mixes of Age of Love, if not the best.

Trance is just so delicious. It's like first, there was Techno, then House came along... and they dominated. But they still had some imperfections.

Until they decided to make love, and gave birth to their hybrid child that was born with the best from both worls: Trance.

    GET SOME.

  • @MarcellusSchulz Excluding the so called "Trance" on today, real trance music like this is dead...

  • Every time I hear it on any other "meduim"........ I am sooooooooooo glad I have this track on vinyl........ there just ain't nothin' like it......believe me, if you play this record, you WILL notice that kick drum :)

  • @LowlanderLegend what you are looking for is " base kick" also vinyl vs cd is purely psychologica, it depends more on your speakers and amplifier than whether you have it on a HDD or pressed as a vinyl, also it doesnt mattter how many times i play a high quality song on my computer and i can play it back to back for extremely long periods of time, can you do you do that with a vinyl?

  • Best vocal stab ever!

  • cracker of a tune

  • Stop arguing peeps, tis a cracking tune in my opinion whenever or whatever it came before or after so.... C'MON DANCE WITH ME xx

  • Comment removed

  • This is often erroneously called the first trance tune of all time, including by me for a very long time. Well, it wasn't. There was no "first trance tune." It seems to have slowly coalesced out of the Belgian new beat, acid house, techno, and euro-house miasma around at the time. You can look for related tracks in each of these early scenes, but none of them are "trance" per se, they clearly fall into their respective styles.

  • @Demandred1971

I agree with most of what you have written D1971, but surely, there has to be a starting point - a time and place in the history of House that a new genre was born.

  • @doubleblue1878

I agree there has to be a beginning somewhere, but this is a contender only, same with Dance 2 Trance - We Came in Peace, which predates even this. Most music evolves over time, it's like saying that humans in their current form went from apes overnight, i personally believe that trance evolved into what it is and wasn't just instantly created by this track or others.

  • @Demandred1971

I'd say KLF- What time is love is a stronger contender than D2T- WCIP, but neither of them have the smooth 'wall of sound' production that AOL has.

I'm not a 'Trance' fan myself, I just like good House music, especially 88 -90.

  • just come from Martha Reeves & the Vandellas "Heatwave" to this....hangin' in...and it's all good.

  • A CLASSIC OLD SKOOL TUNE 5*

Un son de malade pour l'époque à classer au rang de légende, comme Legend B d'ailleurs..! ;)

Lost in Love - Legend B (pour les connaisseurs) aura été pour moi la révélation.

  • @melsim01

    '92

  • @starasterikguy you just think so!!!! Have you seen the episode from south park (Everything sounds, looks and tastes like shit) ? Music doesnt get worst nor better, it just changes, there is always the good stuff and the best stuff. If it doesnt sound good, or it sounds bad, that means it is not music!!!

  • @smeziane1943 btw dubstep is great

  • 92. lol

  • why ain't trance tracks like this anymore? :'( its all commercialised crap now

  • LEGENDARY TRACK.

    DEFINETELY IN MY TOP TEN!

  • glad to heard that!

  • the word that comes to mind with this track is "glorious."

This would have probably been my favorite track as everyone else is claiming it to be for them if i had experienced this revolutionary piece of music when it first came out. i've fallen in love with today's trance music, not the 90's style electronic music, so I cannot lie and say this is the best. I consider this a sick track in retrospect of the 90's

  • Comment removed

  • @komal517

Same. Friends who experienced 10 years ago tell me that Trance today is shit, 10 years ago everything was better. The ones who were in the scene 20 years ago say the same about 2000 onwards. Music is changing, so constant nostalgia doesn't lead us to anywhere. I don't need Trance to be nonharmonic, if I want to dance, I dance to Techno. I fell in love with Trance how it is today because of its emotional melodies, that was what stood out above them all. Still I think this is superb!

  • Not really feelin this song

  • That Rising 303 and that filthy ghosted Echoey Voc sample is just the Nutz THIS IS TRANCE MUSIC @ her Finest

  • Comment removed

  • @melsim01 this was released '92

  • goa?

  • damn this trance stuff is excellent. looked up best trance songs and this song is on here.

  • i see this song in 100 greatest trance songs number 1!

  • This is a very good example of trance, something to be remixed even till this day, because of its historic identity, But, there are other trance songs that are better

  • Comment removed

  • 21 here as well.....

song is fucking kick ass, givin credit where credit is due.

  • cant beat the classics mate the end of the 90`s was well the best ere of dance music

  • for example i think this one os pure shyt

  • im 21 and i grew up listening to all the new trance songs and all the hardcore versions. but i like looking up older ones. some of them are good but it jus depends what you grow up listenin to i think. so stop complainin bout young people knowin nothin bout trance

  • tasty old classic.loved it the first time i heard it.

  • plur :]

  • one of the greatest tracks of all time. inspired the entire genre.

its sad how few people get to experience the roots of trance...simply because they do not know it exists. if i owned my own radio station id throw on nothing but classics

  • @WishkazofTreachery where is this radio station good sir?

  • @WishkazofTreachery DIY internet radio perhaps?

  • never stop it ... 1 thousand of years I wanna listen 2 the feelings of music :X

  • Yes this is the best trance song ever... with a grand total of 8650 views?...?...?

  • best remix :x

  • 8441 views. This I 500 x. :-) Best Trance.

  • your a bass hunter fan i bet

  • feel the rush what an absolute classic

  • i close my eyes and still feel the rush , deep breaths yeah yeah yeah

  • Too many damn kids listening to all the crap labeled as trance nowadays they don't realize where it all started. Classic are and always will be the best.

  • 90/91/92?? I was in my twenties. Give me a break. Most of what I listen to is trance, and this crap is NOT trance.

  • ANYBODY who knows anything about house music will tell you that this track was the first 'trance' ever.

  • @doubleblue1878 I'd say Future Sound of London 'Papua New Guinea' was, but this is one of the first!

  • @danburge82

I'm not sure if I'd call Papua New Guinea was a trance track, but I love it anyway

  • @doubleblue1878 Offcourse it's a Trance track

  • @doubleblue1878 klf - what time is love is without a doubt the first, how ever this would certenly be the first modern sounding trance track

  • @doubleblue1878 You dunno anythin then do you, Trance FORMED. Not Trance was created. It formed from mostly underground Euro-house and/or hard techno. I can understand why it's told as being 'the first trance tune ever', but you cannot say that until you hear what was around before it. It's a mongrel music genre, a bit of everythin with its own characteristics.

  • @DaveKraft400

All due respect Dave.... But I've been buying, playing and listening to House from mid 1988. I have got more tunes in my collection than you have had hot dinners, so please don't tell me that I 'dunno anythin'

  • @doubleblue1878 Turn down the smugness; and you're sayin more things that you can't definitively prove. Why do you think you have more tunes than me? Hot dinners? From that I can tell you're mid/late 20's and are brushing me off as some little naive kid. It's a debate, not a personal flame war. Faggot.

  • @DaveKraft400

    Dave, whats your point?

You told me that I 'dunno anythin', I do. As far as House music is concerned, I know quite a lot as it happens.

I'm not interested if Trace was formed or created... my point was that this track - Age of love, was the first Trance track. I know that everything is subjective, and others may well have a different opinion to mine.

p.s Insulting people with remarks like faggot undermines your argument, and makes you sound, well like a naive kid.

  • @doubleblue1878 My point is, is that you're saying things you cannot definitively prove. How do you know it was the first Trance track? There was underground stuff that was around months before the release of this. Insults don't portray a person atall. It's just not in your personality to swear if you noticed it that much. Stephen Fry said "The sort of twee person who thinks swearing is in any way a sign of a lack of education or of a lack of verbal interest is just a fucking lunatic." Puff.

  • @DaveKraft400

So you're a Stephen Fry fan? That speaks volumes.

Dave, frankly I'm bored of this conversation. You are clearly not that bright and have not given any solid evidence to support your argument. ''there was underground stuff that was around months before the release of this'' - rather than just rambling, you needed to be specific and tell me the names and release dates of this underground stuff..... Let me guess, you can't because you're a gobshite.

  • @doubleblue1878 If I quote someone then it doesn't necessarily mean I'm a fan. No, you're the one that's not so bright. Look up, someone has said exactly the same thing that I stated. It's like saying Rapper's Delight was the first ever rap song; how can anyone be sure? You can't, so instead of using pathetic 'put-downs', try having a fairly innocent debate with someone who shares the same taste in music. You've shown everyone that you're not as smart as you quite obviously think you are.

  • @DaveKraft400

    zzzz zzzz zzzz zzzz

  • @doubleblue1878 Sort yourself out ya little faggot.

  • Hahaha!! I love this tune!!! It makes me MDMA!! YIPEE!!!!!!!

  • dega70, wtf do you think you're on about? Without trying to be disrespectful, if you call the shit that is around now (i.e. Basshunter - The Prick) trance, you ain't got a clue mate. Try googling trance, go to wikipedia and you'll find that this is classed by many as the original first real trance track? What planet are you on? Oh and by the way, this is from someone who's 42 but was on the scene many years ago when it first came out!

  • not even close the the greatest trance song. very bland and a lil too mellow imo.

  • Which one is best in your view?

  • 00 designer Dons gives regards to Design Agent KM7 klaus Mai. Love your book!

  • who the hell made this crappy list?? lets be honest, the track is not bad but, do you really think this is the second best trance song in all times???

  • Remember Top 100 Best Trance Song

  • 1990,rolled so hard

  • Sounds a lot like modern Trance, except for the beat. The beat is mostly a lot harder. :)

  • o wow, i don't know what modern trance you are listening to. but please let me know. because modern trance nowadays sounds NOTHING like this. I miss this. Never again will stuff like this be made unfortunately.

  • idk, some of the samples sound a bit modern to me. I just wish the beat was harder and the song would have been just perfect. I mostly listen to the kind of Trance random people (not Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, etc.) make on their computers. Most of them use software like Reason, Modplug Tracker, Cubase, etc.

  • Noted. I didn't fully do my homework on this track. I only first caught this tune in 1996, when it was re-released with the Paul Van Dyk version on the remixes CD. I would class it as early Psy Trance when the tunes were more often melodical.

  • @dannybailey666 this mix is from 1992

  • @dannybailey666 its from 1992

  • mmmmmm deverian aparecer mas fotografias en el transcurso de la cancion no seeee gente delirando dopados con alucinogenos con extasis pa ke la gente se lokee aaah nooo...!!

  • epic - the build, then the bassline, vocal...

trance at its very best - stella mix eclipses all - thank your for uploading!

  • when I didn't know much about dance music this was one of many tunes that help mold my intelligence.

and when those voices drop in the climax, I remember the sights sounds and smell of the good times we all had raving.

    that's it

    I'm moving to Europe.

  • mmm, good memories.

  • Nice danny Thanks for the upload
