With the find of the Dead sea scrolls, and the Old Testament is very close to the scriptures there ,so close there are considered the same. That is very good since the scrolls are at least 2k years old and not affiliated with the King James. A wise Son (male or female) will check all the word of the N.T. against the O.T. , for even the Words Of Yeshua (Jesus) can be found in the old testament.

That's like the Rapture. Many times preachers will tell you that you will not have to go through any tribulations, because you will be raptured before that. However, the scriptures don't bear that out to be truth. They always say, "At the 7th trumpet we will be raptured." Awesome, well, what happens during the 6 trumpet blasts before the 7th? ANd it actuall says, 'Just before the 7th angel blew the 7th trumpet the mystery of god will be revealed." So....

Semantics? That was told to me once that I was worried to much about the little things. Funny how, a linguist, can point things out to you that you never knew. Jesus, ing Greek, means Zeus. That's kind of a big thing. Jesus said all those that call upon 'MY NAME" shall be saved. Probably ought to know what that name is right? And while yes, you could say, that well he knows who it is that your trying to talk to. Really? So if you prayed in Satan's name amen, you would get the same result?

@sandroeleven I believe that even if the Bible has changed from the original manuscripts that God still ensured, supernaturally, that His Word is Truth. God reveals scriptures to us through the power of His Holy Spirit. We can know the true meaning as He intended it for our lives through His Spirit. No need to get hung up on semantics.

The only error I've seen from KJV is the word Easter. There could be more, but I'm not sure. KJV is the best way to go though.

i read the King James Bible. this is derived from the original manuscripts that the early Church fathers used.

all modern translations come from corrupt texts that were locked away in the vatican for hundreds of years and are not trust worthy

I only used the KJV version also; in particular the 1611 bible which has 80 books in it.

Yeah, I know of an old lady who got mad at the Pastor of her Church because he read from the NIV. Her chief objection was summed up in her statement that ' If the KJV was good enough for Saint Paul, it's should be good enough for everyone else.' 'Nuff said.
