Come on people, there will never require people have a computer chip. The backlash would far exceed the benefits. Yes, this technology is on the way, but it will be OPTIONAL. They will place the chip in a card and allow individuals to sign up for the plan. They will still have check outs for non-members, but there will be far fewer. People have to remember that businesses are in the business of making a profit, not scaring everyone away from them with technology.

The video doesn't show her being scanned, but it is the only conclusion that can be made, because the whole idea of RFID is to eliminate the use of cash and credit cards. She would have had to have been scanned, or else she would have been walking out of the store with free food.

When you walk through the device, it's supposed to scan everything, eliminating the use of credit cards, or cash; thus, it would only be logical that as she passed through, it would scan her RFID. Otherwise, she'd be walking out of the store with free food. But, that's not something they probably want the viewer to see.
