I'm not sure I entirely appreciate it when other gay people say, "I'm not going to let being gay define who I am." It's fine to let it define you to some extent. I let it. And being a man defines me to some extent, too. So does being white. And growing up Christian and then becoming atheist (my best decision EVER :D). And having 4 siblings, including a twin brother. LET it define you. It's really awesome.
