Paul Newman is incredibly good actor and incredibly good looking. There's no frame from this movie that he doesn't appears perfect. I must say: GORGEOUS MAN. R.I.P.
@LostShadow901, The film you're talking about (The Color of Money) continues the story of pool hustler and stakehorse Edward "Fast Eddie" Felson from Tevis' first novel, The Hustler (1959), with Newman reprising his role from its film adaptation (1961).
@VindobonaNorikum2 thank you very much. I watched it today and I wondered if Eddie Felson is just here a guy who once was a big pool player...or if those two movies were different and without any connection. Thanks!
Piper Laurie is so good in this movie it gives me chills. Her and Paul Newman are two of the greatest American film actors.

I saw this movie when it was new. Great film. Wonderful cast. It was reported that Jackie Gleason did his own shooting for the pool games.
Piper Laurie's biography is now out.
Thanks for posting.
