The z06 has longer gears, in the video it held 4th gear longer as the hatch had to shift to 5th. Same thing happened with my race against a ls6 swapped camaro.
If this is against Jordan's vette there is a better video of the race that isn't so skewed because from what I'm hearing first hand and otherwise supposedly this honda ONLY got beat by a fender. When in reality it is much more than that. but hey don't take my word for it......

obviously the Z06 DID NOT get killed...watching too many too fast and furious videos kid? That is all the honda would do most likely 140. Don't get me wrong the Honda kicked ass you have to say that kid built a mean honda and it is truly awesome, but that was rather close and the vette goes to 180.
