I have a question. If you already have ringlets in your hair can you still curl your hair? Like with a 1 1/2 curling iron? Like big curling iron sizes not with small ones. Or would I have to straighten my hair before? Because I don't like blowdrying it straight or straightening it before curling it because that is just twice the heat.

If you were to keep the hair straight on the curling iron you would end up with Shirley Temple curls. :/

@haidacudemos Yes, very curly! lol But it gives them a great shape, and if you dont put product or have naturally curly hair, they will fall beautifully with the most awesome shape :) So what I usually do is I do them 1-2 hrs before I have to go out, that way they're perfect by the time i go out....or I run my fingers through them with a serum, and it gives me a very close result.

You shouldn't keep the hair straight on the curler....thats why your hair comes out in a tunnel instead of a spiral curl ..

I would really recommend getting heat resistance gloves cuase man ole man this curling iron gets HOT and it really helps when you are trying to get all the hair to curl down to the very end of the stranc

@simsterbrown i know very annoying but I think it might be because of the way its shaped, but I notice when I use a hair stying product before it helps to keep it from slipping :)

@MIZK0NG My hair usually stays pretty good, but if for some reason my hair is being extra straight that day, I use a curling gel before I blow dry it, then I use hair spray after I curl or as Im curling it, the wand can get dirty but its easy to clean with cotton balls and alcohol :) Hope that helped!

@SimpleLu09 Yeah it is a normal about 1 in. or so. But is has a handle like how yours you have to to with your hands this one opens up with a handle..you push the handle, it grabs your hair, and you start rolling.
