  • Thanks for this video, I used to demonstrate how to make Moroccan tea to one of my Japanese friend. It seems that all foreigners like our Moroccan tea :) Thanks again

  • Moroccans are the most relaxed , fun and tolerant people in the Arab world..

  • @RAFAAJ2000 Morocco is in North Africa not Arabia.

  • @jamkabi All North African countries are part of the Arab world from Morocco to Egypt :)

  • morocco is beautiful ive been there

  • great video. what kind of tea are they using? green?

  • @adonist7 Yes, it's green tea :)

  • Everyone seems to like Moroccan people. I do too.

  • I tried this and it didn't taste good. Then I watched the video again and saw you have to reheat the tea on the hob. I was listening to the story and didn't notice his lovely wife go and reheat the tea. Anyway I think heat is the key, and LOTS of sugar. Yummy. Thanks for posting!

  • @sarahminty u r funny though haha but yeh u have to reheat it so that it wld taste good.abt the sugar some ppl prefer to add it the end depending on how sweet they want it, but some like to have it cooked with tea n mint. also in addition to MINT there is CHIBA tea with mint or tea with CHiba but this1 I dont think u cn find it unless u visit morocco or com with me nxt triplol.Well Im preety sure if u hav any mor frds ask em they ll tell u abt it too n its pronounced as 'CH-EE-BUH'

  • @katyaziz vive amazighians people wherevery they r !

  • I've seen this custom written - but it didn't make any sense on paper. It was very helpful to see it and hear the banter about the amount of water to add...etc.

  • nice video, thank you

  • thank you for the tea it did tast wonderful, I guess but not sure that berbers are #1 in tea making.

  • berbers not the first, but they oved tea,and gave it high value !

  • @katyaziz they r amazighs not berbers

  • @sounaaquarius Berbers are cooler, they have it really strong, and call it berber whisky

  • @sounaaquarius its the same dumbo

  • Allah ya3tek saha akhouya! Nana mint is in the garden and a brred from Fes is ready, water is already boiling, sugar is always a lot, but can't wait to be in Morocco again

  • "Thousands of years" - not quite!!! Tea originates from the Far East and most, if not all, the tea consumed in Morocco is imported from China. Moroccan tea culture came about in the 18th century. It's great to appreciate the culture and the tea but be aware it doesn't date back so long. Greetings from Jebel Tarik (I drink this style of tea everyday and work with Moroccans)

  • As an Englishman from Birmingham..i love evrything Moroccan..the decor .the food, the tea !! the people..a wonderful country !

  • Thank you. That's very sweet of you. : )

  • Is that thank you for my comment on all things Moroccan ?..if it is your very welcome x

  • Yes it was. ; )

  • Moroccan people are funny

by the way i'm one of them :)

  • I didn't understand - the tea you put first in the tea-pod - is that green tea???

  • Yes it is green tea, but it's raw and need to be cleaned

  • I'm half Moroccan but I've lived in London all my life and always look forward to some tea. The tea is naturally quite strong so the sugar brings out the flavour. Usually thought I make my tea not too sweet then add sugar seperately.

  • wooooow ur moroccan an u live in england??? das cool in all my 7 years of living in england i have NEVER met another moroccan! wow! the tea is nice isnt it.. its way cool

  • haha well there are certain parts in london where its full of moroccans lol. yeah the tea is great. heres a tip: if you drop a fig into the tea while its brewing and very hot, when you drink it, basically its non alcohol, non harmful very cheap alcohol lol. ;)

  • This tea is awesome. I recently had this tea in person it is very very sweet.

  • Do they always use so much sugar?

  • They use even more than you see in the video. "A" tuned down the volume for my liking on the day he made tea for me. It's very sweet. You can feel your blood surge minutes after a real tea.

  • yes... tehe

  • Lekkerste thee ter wereld (L)
