so n900 can't play smooth video? i think this sucks and don't understand why anyone want to watch videos with this, i had to try the same video with iphone and it goes so much smoother

@delic83 Iphone cannot play web page youtube because the iphone cannot play flash Instead it uses a youtube app to play selected clips, but not all of them - also you don't see the comments. N900 uses full flash to play the full youtube. Try and do some research before you write about things (which you haven't even tried).

actually i can do all those things, i can go my web browser open the normal youtube web site, looking the comments and when i watch video then it goes fullscreen

by the way what research i need to do? all n900 videos what i'v seen doesn't play smooth youtube video, so you don't answer my guestion can it play smooth?

Heh - you don't even know how your phone works. Iphone cannot display flash, so when you try to watch youtube, it displays a mobile version - not the desktop version. Scroll down to the bottom of the youtube app and click on "desktop version". You will see the comments and page, but the video won't play - it's incapable of doing so. That's what the N900 is doing.

i'm not that stupid you think i am, i know iphone doesn't have flash, but do i need to repeat all what i'v say, or do you get it?

and my iphone it's classic mode and everything looks just like my desktop and videos work, hard to believe? i don't see that scrollin bar on the related videos, but anything else works. i think you should try it before you think you know everything .-heh :)

Wow. I have an ipod touch, so of course I've tried it - it doesn't work ! There is a youtube app, but it is a SMALL selection of vidos converted to H 264, on the N900 you don't need an app, because (drum roll) IT HAS FLASH! And yes - it's smooth, especially with the newer firmware.

I agree with you cirkusarena.. This is a classic applefanboy who just thinks he knows how it works. I have the same situation with my friend. He says that his iPod is so cool but doesn't understand that iPhone only opens youtube with it's own app wether you go from safari or from the app sraightly. @ Delic83 you don't know how iPhone works. Wow.. Lot's stuff :p

i know it's open by youtube app, did i say it works with flash? no? i just say i can watch videos and read comments, so what is the problem? i don't understand? so what if it's open the youtube app to watch video, it's fits perfect to screen and looks good and going SMOOTH, what else i need? and yes iphone is so cool, it's so smooth and looking good and stylish and it is VERY responsive, it fit's perfect to me

I agree too. And you can't play any other Flash video or content in iPhone, only some YouTube movies.
