I play IL2, and i admire realisim in a flight sim but for the love of god people dont complain about Hawx, its not meant to be realistic, its meant to be quick action and make you feel like a super pilot, think of it like the gundam games...every flight sim doesnt have to be realistic to be enjoyable, varies from player to player. I personally would enjoy playing Hawx if my system could handle it...

So u were using the F-22, both of you were, in my opinion it would have been a better dogfight if you were in a F-16 and he was in a F4 or a F18, but good vid!

P.S The cockpit view is the best for online dogfights, especially with atleast 4 planes in the air, and it's better for using your cannons If the enemy killstreaks you, but that is another of my opinions :)

This game is actually really well done. Probably the only arcade fighter jet game that is better than this is Ace Comabt. But I can tell that a lot of thought went into this camera mode that you are using. I just prefer a normal cockpit view thought myself.

At 3500m you can and with a multiAA at 6000m if you wand to kill more accurate use the D button to hold your sight on to your target

It's kind of like a Sim/Arcade hybrid in the same vein as Ace Combat. Then again, most Military Fighters have what could be considered to be arcadey flight dynamics in real life^^.

well, I like sim games... and dont for one second think this game is a sim. Or realistic... this is ARCADE as they can get. I mean, unless you specifically set "Simulator" mode, you have 20+++ missiles and have that ASSISTANCEOFF mode. which is pretty ergh.. I was disappointed, better off getting IL-2 Sturmovik if you want something more realistic.

However, nothing is like the real thing, and i have only flown Cessna :x

Hey..Im a student pilot and I found the game pretty satisfying. its got a lot of similarities to real life such as the instability of the aircraft, but then on the otherside the assistance OFF mode as you see in the vid is pretty unrealistic (pulling that many g's would kill you/rip the wings or control surfaces off the plane). But overall the game is amazing =)

its not the camera.. its assistance mode... on/off.. if you have the actual retail game.. you dont get it right away... you get it later on in the story... but you can still use it online..
