this is fuked up u lot are getting a thrill from watching this wen this shit is happening this show is exploiting the problem that so many countries like america have. im not saying the show isnt gd but u lot gotta think how lucky u are
what your asking is "why do we like to watch violence"? what makes violence and pain "enjoyable" to see?. Unfortunately its human nature, just like the ability to watch violence then get made at others for seeing it too and not doing somethng about it. But jonnyknuckles is right tho-Its a tv show but know this EVERY cop show has a message of trying to show you that its NOT worth it. nothing is what it absolutely appears to be. Remeber that
Omar first, Stringer second, then Bubbles. These guys are some good actors I feel though. But looking at it again, Andre Royo may be the best actor in the series.
mr. royo played THE HELL out of his character...when you see bubbles, you say "that right there is a crackhead". watching him from season one till now, it's just pure acting genius. bravo, mr. royo. bravo.
my gurl broke down when bubbles went into rehab . after all that shit . that was the one time i was really moved almost to tears because of something i saw on a tv show
Yeah, poor Bubbles...he relied on the police to handle that fiend, and when they failed, he took matters into his own hands, only to have his plan backfire on him...I hope he stays clean and makes something of himself in season 5
such a sad but necessary scene. people who watch 'hollywood' style movies about the drug world need to realize that it goes beyond the dearlers who have the cars with nice rims, flashy jewlery and hos. shit like this happens all the time.
there's a lot of sad scenes in the wire. but i swear to god this scene made me cry the first time i saw it. all throughout season 4 i had a bad feeling sherrod was gonna die and sure enough he took a hot shot, and bubbles cared for that boy sooo much! oh well, "all in the game" i guess
my saddest scene was when they killed Wallace . it just brewed over to the next next season because it seemed like Deangelo didnt forgive himself for not trying harder to get wallace out the game.
Sherrod was a characther I felt sorry for also... its sad most the characthers in this show just died off

felt bad for Bubs. In the end he seemed to be fine, gettin' to eat with his sister and her family :)
