  • Thanks a lot for your great tutorials regarding the Xponent and the EMX. Are there others to come from your side?

    Salut

  • @jussi31700 Hi, thanks for your post ! i've been very busy but I will do some videos next month (I hope) I changed my setup and I have some new crazy ideas to share ! I just need to find the time for that, the thing is I have too many shows and it is crazy. but I will do some new videos as soon as posible.

    thanks !

  • @hopox I am happy to hear that it is going well for you. By the way, I am using as well the combination of the EMX and the xponent. I just need to practice a lot more, as you said, it is always a matter of time. I am looking forward and all the best for2012.

  • You look like a Jew

  • Hey man, are u using an external audio interface?

And is this plugged into the laptop with the speakers also plugged into the external audio interface?

Im buying one of these and just want to make sure my setup is ok...

My setup - Dell XPS 17 > M-audio Fast Track pro external audio interface > M-audio BX8 speakers.

  • @PhokusOner I was using the M-audio xponent witch is a Audio interface and midi controller, and I send the audio signal from the interface and the korg (groove box) to a dj mixer that you can't see on that video, and them from the dj mixer to the speakers.

  • EL TIPO ES UNA FIERA IN THE MIX VERY GOOD

  • That was awesome!

  • due how can i get a serial number i get the same mixers but wont let me start the program!!!! help plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • Quite interesting way of applying the EMX. Despite its obvious (and Korg-proclaimed) DJ'ing-potential, it's not seen very often. I love the results though! Awesome beat in particular! Captivating and enjoyable!

Myself use it in the more typical fasion, as the backbone/drum-section in a setup, paired with a microsampler and a Roland synth - soon to be joined by the new Kaoss Pad Quad ^^

    Best wishes!

  • i noticed midi cables comin out of your korg, are you syncing using midi or are you just timing it the old fashioned way? Excellent sounds work mate

  • @dj4lif3 I'm using Midi (Midi clock) from the Software to the Korg.

I made a tutorial ! (sorry for the bad english)

  • @dj4lif3 check the video description for the tutorial !

  • thanks @hopox

  • can anyone answer what he is doing with the fader around 1:58, ive seen other djs do it and im not to sure what it is? can someone fill me in please?

  • @FMIF1028 let’s see, that fader is the ARPEGGIATOR and next to that is the trigger of the synthesizer, so I got one finger on the trigger to Generate a single tone and using the fader I change the note. if I move the fader up or down I get different notes in the selected Musical scale. so the melody that you hear in that part is created using that fader, Hope this answer your question.

  • hi there mate sounding really great there...

one question i have a new xoxbox and a new korg emx running through a mixing desk.

all equipment is brand new and works great but i want to sync the emx to the xox as the drum machine...i have patterns programmed on the xox ready to go but i have no idea how to set the two together to sync in time with each other...

its the emx settings i think may be the problem...can you help.big thanks in advance.gaz

    p.s great stuff sounds awesome.

  • kool !!!!!

  • Nice work!

  • nice stuff wish i had your set up..

  • i think midi-clock? or something like that.

it ain't got no usb, midi-only.

  • jeaaaaaaa...............! nice....

  • u tear ass

  • coño loko at least give us a link or something where we can download some of your tunes.

  • what laptop are you using?

  • Macbook 2.4GHz 3GB RAM

  • love that detriot clap thingy @ 3:53

    wicked!

  • Thank you.

  • Do you use a difference sound card or you use the xponent sound card thanks.

  • Hi, I'm using the xponent sound card, but 98% of the time I use 320kbps MP3 files, I have a M-Audio Fast Track Pro that sounds better, vut most of the time I usea just the xponent.

  • awesome

  • una pregunta, este Korg EMX-1 es un procesador de efectos?? puedo conectarlo al xponent y aplicar efectos a lo que toco ahi?

    GRACIAS!

  • as far as i understood you, you asked, if the emx-1 is an effect-processor.

it's actually a groovebox, which means that it creates sounds itself (or samples them) and plays them like a synthesizer....

  • good stuff man that looked fun.

  • i ve prob watched this vid 5 times!! i keep coming back, i have the xponent....was thinking of an mc909...but now i want an emx!

  • Wooow hermano esta increible!!! saludos desde mexico!

  • ¿Cuánto cuesta el costo Korg?

  • US$450.00

  • not my style of music, but nice performance. safe.

  • Lets play:)RESPECT!

  • THATS WICKED!!!

  • at last a techno set with digital hardware!

  • mmmm, its ok, Scratch Live is nice, I use it a lot, and the traktor...

when I use turntables I always use Serato Scratch, but I use the Xponent and Torq for most gigs because I can't travel caring to much stuff...

  • Wow, very cool. That is the exactly what I've wanting to do. I just bought a EMX-1 a couple weeks ago but have been able to play with it properly this great motivation to get it out and start playing properly.

FunkyChappelle: get a life already. Fucking 1.5 haters need to fucking calm down. Looser.

  • Really cool... I like this!
