  • Wonder how much fixednewschannel gets for this bit? Likely nothing; these are probably volunteered not out of the kindness of heart but the emptiness of skull. Fox usually broadcasts the facts, notions alien to propagandists. Guess a "troll" just disagees.

  • The sky is falling! The sky is falling!

  • Black bitch in the back was knocked the fuck out listening to these old ass fags!

  • GULAGS!, PRISONS!, GHETTOS!

I smell a rap song in the making. hehe

  • More speeches from Health Insurance Companies WHORES!

  • They vote 100% to give your Billions to Israel so that they all have good government health care and then vote Billions to send to outer space and the moon. They vote 100% to kill 44,000 Americans just because they are poor without blinking an eye?

    Republicans love money not Americans.

    Beware of them.

  • When it's a choice between helping the country vs. trying to make Obama look bad, the Republicans are clearly more concerned with the latter.

  • It costs to much? As opposed to what corporate welfare program?

  • The Bush tax cuts?

    The prescription drug bill?

    The Afghan war?

    The Iraq war?

These "deficit hawks" where NOWHERE when Bush was plundering the national debt into the ground. That is why I don't take them seriously.

  • Since they think a publicly funded health care system is such a bad idea, I say we should stop insulting them and stop giving them health care on our dime.

  • @FixedNewsChannel

I think they're sore because they lost their little comfy spots in the White House and are now having to answer for their misdeeds over the past 8 years. And your point is right on--The fall of the big banks and investment companies...didn't happen on Obama's watch--it happened on Bush's.

  • Unfortunately, too many people believe it was Obama's fault because they watch Fox and are too ignorant to know in the first place.

  • Not me....I don't buy into the celebrity hype that distracts most people while the politicians create chaos and go blame it on the opposition. I keep my eyes wide open.

  • I don't want the healthcare plan, but I think that the Republicans are doing this in order to win their 2010 election. They don't necessarily see it as a stand against government takeover but more like an opportunity to get re-elected or have more republicans elected. That would have the balance of power tip more in their favor.

  • they drive the carter plan, it is obvious,

that they paint black at will.

they `ve shot themselves in the foot with a whole mag doing so.

i`ve never assumed such nonsense is possible.

-i said they`ll fence usayans in, and they succeded so far.

-whassup now with french, german, russian, italian ..........health care?

  • These greedy old farts are damn pathetic.

  • We need to vet our Senators harder than we do the President. These guys have too much power and they are standing in the way of true representative government.

  • And now repubs go enjoy your public paid insurance.

  • here's my problem. We have stadiums built with tax payer money. We have police and fire fighters with tax payer money. The government has subsidized so many bussiness's for the sake of protectionism its incredible. We bailed out wall street and the banks. Now I personaly hate cops, and have never once felt protected by them. But I pay for them anyways without being asked.

Question: After all of that, why would I have a problem with everyone having more affordable health care?

  • The president should turn round and say to these red states, "OK Utah, Texas etc...., you want less goverment controlled departments? Get your own damn private police stations, fire stations and schools.....see you later"

Their pants would rapidly turn brown.

  • Nationally Elected Republicans are:

    80% male

    --

    99% white

    --

    1% Vietnamese

The Big Tent is now an umbrella covering a party that consists of Felons, Liars, religious Kooks, Inferiors, Malcontents, Anti-Patriots and General Losers. The gop is done forever.

  • Hello Reddit.

  • Orin Hatch is scum.

  • "I'm really concerned about this"

Translation from Republican to English: I'm really concerned I'm going to lose my backing and donations from insurance companies.

  • The Lewis Group! How much money do they give Horrin Patch?

  • The slippery slope powergrab arguments are pretty weak. I wish they would be more willing to debate policy outcomes. Debating people's motivations is unnecessary and unproductive.

I can understand why some Senators oppose the public option. Lieberman has justifiable objections given the state he represents, but I don't understand how Cornyn can oppose it. Texas has the highest percentage of uninsured in the country. He ought to take that into more consideration.

  • Tom Coburn should be sharing a cell with Ensign.

McCain from birth to current has been under a government insurance plan.

Conservatives are as bright a sponge mop.

  • Aren't Republicans wonderful at creating the Rhetoric of Extreme Hyperbole and Fear.... a "health care gulag, a medicare ghetto..." I wonder which Insurance company lobbyist is writing their copy for them.

  • I don't want to participate, but I may be jailed for it. So...

  • Orin Hatch is just priceless.......one of the chief engineers piloting the gop train fuled by geritol, viagra, special interest donations and of course a boat load of beltway hypocritical bull shit..

    fk em pass the bill.

public op yes,fk the ins industry and make health care reform a reality.

  • oh John McCain, how the mighty have fallen going from moderate to far right wing old coot

  • i can hardly watch the live debate, just fed up with gop's lies, they are still talking about Britain' breast cancer survival rate, are we live on the same planet with these moron??

  • GOP talking points:

-Majority of americans dont want a public option

-Too many people are going to sign up for the public option.

  • Hit the nail on the head there.

    Unfiltered hypocrisy.

  • Worrying about how many people sign up for public insurance is legit when considering which patients are likely to flock to the program. If too many high-risk, high-payout patients enroll, it may threaten the solvency of the program. If the program becomes insolvent, then it will no longer be "budget neutral" as planned and require more tax subsidies.

  • It's difficult to know whether to laugh or cry when you hear the Republican talking points. I mean, I know the majority of their supporters aren't the brightest bulbs, but I can understand how even the stupidest person in the world can take them seriously. It's literally just depressing that people vote for them. Democrats aren't great either, but the Republicans are so blatantly useless it boggles my mind.
