@shootincyclone i do 75-80mph on the tollway everyday on the way to work, when traffic allows, too many lame assed fuckers with huge cars on cell phones kill traffic flow. i've never had my smart cut off at 90, i'm happy at 85, but will probably try it soon for giggles, there are companies that re-flash smart ECUs, and non-turbos do 135mph and turbos exceed 150mph, not bad for 60cu in...my tires are only speed rated to 130mph. it would be fun in court, 130mph, impossible, the ECU limits to 90mph
@shootincyclone it kinda sucked, being stuck on a track with 7-8 liter cars that are only capable of 160mph, smarts have one liter engines and can easily cruise at 90mph, if the ECU is reprogrammed, they can hit 135mph, two smarts on that track were turbos, that can do 150mph. corvettes are for old men with limp dicks. i'm over 50 and don't have the need for a plastic dick! re-think life, it sucked being on the track with all those long, slow corvettes!
#4. The only reason your old @ss doesnt need a plastic dick is because you found Viagra. And by the way, these corvettes are made out of fiberglass, aluminum, and carbon fiber. If you cant tell the difference between those materials and plastic, it reinforces my first question in this comment.
#5. You went to a RACE TRACK with a smart car. Everyone in the stands probably said..."Oh, how cute"
@shootincyclone bud, i've been driving 3 cylinder cars for over 20 years, this one has the same size engine as my '98 metro, just more power, 100 pounds lighter and 3 feet shorter. most of those vettes were long before carbon fiber, fiberglass cracks, the plastic of smarts doesn't. i've never used viagra, i'm in great shape, i can pound the crap out of anyone twice my size and half my age.
And Lastly, the ONLY thing smart cars are good for is parking in Motorcycle parking spots, and good gas mileage. You didnt buy it to turn heads..lets be honest. Leave the bath toys at home next time.

@shootincyclone the funny thing is 4 times as many smart cars showed up than corvettes, the same vettes drove around twice as long, the smarts drove in 2 "shifts", half drove a bit and got off the track, my half was the last, as you can see the first bunch filing off the track at the beginning of the video. the smaller smarts had 2 outer lanes on the track, the vettes drove down in the lower lane. blame it on the vette owners for not showing up, we're both 2 seaters, smarts are legion, LOL!
@shootincyclone ummm, i didn't know the "format" of this drive, i mounted the camera on the luggage cover behind the seats to get a sort of "driver/passenger view". i didn't know the vettes would be driving 3mph at the bottom while we were driving 30mph at the top. i was depressed, i found out the 2 clowns at the front limited our top speed, if it was me, we'd be doing 80-90mph, i drive that on the street. i wanted to go "flat out" on a "closed course", this video was painful for me to make.

I know i was subscribed to you on the 20th(my birthday)and yet i never saw this in my inbox.Luckily i decided to stop by and check out a few vids and was able to catch this one.I hit the subscribe button again-hopefully that does the trick.Hope all is well.Just curious,what was the angle this get together was going for? I own an 02 Vette and i've never been to a get together where these two very different types of vehicle commingled.
@CharlesBartowskiHere i just mounted the camera behind the seats on the luggage cover, smarts are only 8 feet long, and have 2 seats, i have ideas for a more stable mount, probably use a wooden 2x6 board across the top of the luggage cover.

This was in my sub box yesterday and then disappeared. Something is screwing with the sub boxes again. Anyways, that is pretty cool to get on the track. I have NEVER seen a Smart in real life!
@taofledermaus i've only had mine 3-1/2 years, there are a few dealers in cali, but there are people here that never seen one, i watch when i go out to lunch, people walk around, peek inside, then stare at the back, i got about 8 or 9 anti-obama stickers on it! i'll make a video "walk around" of the car for ya!
