I'd like to see a satire of Star Trek where they take the "mirror" universe have it be discovered that the universe of the UFP is actually the dark alternative world. The UFP (especially as it was elaborated in the TNG series) always had an incipiently totalitarian quality to it, w/ its self righteous sense of their superiority to the past. This was less so in the original series, where the UFP was less idealized.
I never saw the original series, but always wanted to. When I heard this episode is related to one of the Originals, suddenly I wanna see it even more. XD
at 1:00 they re used a clip fron voyager, dragons teeth

This intro is so awesome.
The 2 "In A Mirror, Darkly" episodes were a great treat for fans who had seen the rest of Enterprise. And Star Trek fans in general.

Was fun how they tied on "The Tholian Web" too...we finally got to find out exactly what happened to the original Defiant.

Best Enterprise episode, ever. And definitely up there on the list of best episodes from all Trek series.
