  • @AwesumLittleRedTruck hahaha ye , thats LA BAMBA !!!

  • Jesus..his version sounds like a RUMBA .... or something else but latin...

  • Jesus..his version sounds like a RUMBA ....

  • The Beatles didn't actually right this song originally. It was adapted from a song by another Artist of the day and they changed some of the lyrics.

  • Best Old Rcok song Ever to dance to in the early 60,s. Was at the worlds Biggest Beatles Festival last night in Louisville, Ky. All of us screamed when this song was sung. We are also all seniors in our 60.s with silver hair but can still jam like no other Generation ever did. We all sang all the words, that The Isley Brothers song who wrote this song. I still have my 45 record by them. Then the Beatles re recorded but it was not near as much fun to dance to as The Isley Brothers.

  • Bruce is sooo sexy :)

  • ahahahaha he waves so fuuunny!!!!

  • its like the beat of la bamba with the lyrics of twist and shout. . kinda threw me off... but i love the boss

  • La Bamba?

  • @iBolks La Bamba was my second favorite song to dance to , in the early 60,s You can not beat that sond & TWIST & SHOUT. Not the same at all. I hope both songs keep people danicng the way we all did ~

  • my ears, my ears................He is so off key

  • Needs more COWBELL!

  • Springsteens singing blows.

  • The song was originally a hit by the Isley Brothers. But the Beatles made it their own, thanks to John Lennon's incredible larynx-shredding vocals.

Oh, and btw, Zimnyfication, you're an ignorant racist asshole.

  • Please, What says the minute 5:40 to 6:00? I don´t understand what he says!! Thanks.

  • @Cadizcurioso A little bit louder

  • @NicolasJz Thanks!!!

  • la bamba and twist and shout in one played by the boss strange love it though

  • bruce is one handsome man!

  • Something about a giant ass black panther with island-like steel drums for a 60s song don't go together...

  • It's not tiring if you're there. Nope, not tiring at all.

  • Awesome dansing at 2:00

  • This is great cover of the song, but going on for ten minutes gets really tiring...

  • .... this sounds more like Ritchie Valens La Bamba.

The Beatles are still numero uno :-)

  • Bruce...<3

  • Comment removed

  • @Nanosaur12 Not even the origional Isley brothers version?

  • ISLEY BROS HAD THE ORIGINAL HIT, NOT BEATLES. BEATLES DID COVER VERSION

  • The beatles could learn somthin about how to cover this song

  • @ASIWASMUSIC

this version sounds more like Ritchie Valens La Bamba :-)

  • Bruce is the best musician ever!

    34 year-old Redhead

  • @SuperSpringsteenFan il n'y a pas que ses bras... TOUT le reste est au top. Je prends l'ensemble.

  • so fucking sexy hot... *slabber* twist a little closer baby^^

  • Amazing performance, the world's greatest rock n roll band, and one extremely sexy Bruce Springsteen. What more could you possibly ask for.

I wonder if he would ever sing 'Drive My Car'?....

  • Hooooot!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Haha, quite the dancer La Bamba.

  • He is soooooooo sexy

  • Yes, HE is very-very sexy... I think I love him :D

  • He played this song 1988 on the Tunnel of Love Tour in Frankfurt. My first concert - I felt in love... ;-) Best ever! Oh god, how beautiful he is in this vid... unbelievable!

  • LOVE this version best! Bruce puts his own "twist" to this song. Love it!! What a performer he is!

  • Allmighty Max at the end!!!!!Qué pasdaaaa!!!

  • no, doesn't work for me that version .....

  • I love this song!! He's awesome.

  • Wow! Even the Boss was inspired by 'the Beatles'!It's incredible to see Bruce covering the Beatles. They both represent two legacies of music, so different, yet none of them being less significant.

  • He actually only first played this song because John Lennon Died.

  • @maaanddeuta but the beatles version was not the oringinal.... theres was a cover to..... just saying

  • Tihs song was written by Phil Medley and Bert Russell. It was originally recorded by the Top Notes.

  • @maaanddeuta

    FUN FACT:

twist and shout wasn't written by the Beatles. it was written by a band called the Top Notes. John Lennon was a big motown fan and a lot of their stuff was influenced by band like the Top Notes and Chuck Berry.

  • @maaanddeuta Twist and Shout was the Isley Brothers. It's also one of the most covered songs of the '60s. Get back to me when Bruce does a Beatles song.

  • @maaanddeuta this wasn't a Beatles song originally

  • @clash3608 But it's still a Beatles cover. Just like With A Little Help From My Friends was not a Joe Cocker song, but nowadays when people cover it they cover the Joe Cocker version.

  • @maaanddeuta

He did not cover the beatles, the song was origianally recorded by the Top notes and than covered from the beatles and the isley brothers

  • @Konigdok

but still bruce covered the beatles, just like the who covered the beach boys with barbara ann.

  • @maaanddeuta you mean the Isley Brothers song ;) the beatles covered the song.

  • @maaanddeuta correction, Top Notes cover :)

  • @maaanddeuta Uh duded. Springsteen is significantly less significant than the beatles. Just saying, in 200 years he will not be remembered, the beatles, as beethoven and motzart will always be remembered. Some people change music, some don't. Elvis and the Beatles changed music, Springsteen just sold a bunch of cd's.

  • @therealfactor Don't comment when u know nothing about springsteen... I like both beatles and springsteen, from my equal inclinations towards their music, I must infer, Bruce was a better lyricist than Lenon or McCartney... And you are a fool if u neglect Springsteen's influence on the transition of music.. Artists like Bryan Adams and many others take BOSS as their inspirations...

  • Adoroin modo particolare la versione di Bruce, sei un grande Bruce!

  • How can any one compare this to the Beatles?

  • i listened this song in his live in Valladolid (Spain) and it's soooooo much better! he's the boss.....

  • Springsteen's version is good but beatles are better

  • i love thiiis song! in his last concert in santiago it waas incrediblee!

  • Like his twist on it.

  • NO ONE does this better than The Beatles :)

  • The boss do it better!

  • agreed.

  • eurgh

  • grande boss!!!!

  • He does it better than the beatles.

  • Are you kidding me? I like Bruce but get a clue!

The beatles took this song and made it theirs. When you hear the song on the radio you hear John Lennon singing it. Not the original. That should tell you right there who did the best version.

  • Um, ok?

  • i was workin as a steward on the rds last weekend and he was amazing...great showman!

  • he did the exact same thing at the rds dublin on sunday last

  • Yes I was there too... It was so strange to experience this song live after listening to it so many times on bootlegs.

The e street band was so loose that night (the best of the 8 shows I've been so far!

  • I loved this at Hampden on Tuesday night, made me want to dance all night long :)

  • Eh ... the Beatles did do it better. I love Bruce, but this isn't his shining moment....

  • Check out the guns on Bruce. (((sigh)))

  • so damn sexy here, Mr.bruce...

  • It's more energy in this song nowadays.

  • yes

  • This is my "It's all gonna be alright song" :). Bruce's version of course.

  • 1:50 what?! haha

  • uhahu dude was twisting, i would too if i was there

  • last night at Hershey Park someone made a sign asking Bruce to play this song and saying they'd burn all their Hannah Montana CDs in return

  • haha!!

  • I was there too!! it was awesom!

  • was that la bamba from the conan o'brien show!!!???

  • it is? The miami horns were touring with bruce long before conan...

  • Strepitoso Boss...ti aspetto all'Olimpico di Roma il 19 Luglio 2009....by Italy

  • As much as I always love Bruce's version of Twist and Shout, this seems a tad lackluster compared to the '78 or '84-'85 versions of it. I don't like the way the band is so spread out. Bruce's interactions with the rest of the E Street Band has always been a big part of what makes his shows great.

  • bradentown is probably an effeminate nobody

  • would give anything to have that waiting for me at home

  • Great! Audiences of every place go crazy for him, always. And me too!

  • Bruce please come to Sweden !

  • He's such a legend!

    The Boss NEVER dies

  • what a power!!

  • Keep it up Boss //Jacke

  • This Guy is fucking show ledge

  • OK. You win. Now contiue to play Nintendo Wii please.

  • You're just a little punk kid. Doing nothing good for society, just complain and complain. Try to get laid for once, will drop a little tention.

  • What "to get laid" means please ?

  • have sex

  • hahahahahaha

  • Sadly how a pathethic little man seems to have the need to complain in every Springsteen video. Did you girlfriend leave you for him or something? Get a life.

  • He's just jealous...lol.

  • este hombre es bien lindo y tiene una voz preciosa !
