  • Okami means 'wolf' in Japanese.

  • Is Yushin Okami is birth name or did he take that as a fighting name?

    Anyone know?

  • @garthbradley

probably birth. Okami isnt a typical japanese last name. His ancestor were probably elites in ancient japanese society.

  • If Okami gets the belt, where will challengers have to go to get it?

Japan? Will he stay here to defend?

  • I dunno why people thought Nate was gonna dominate Yushin...

I thought for sure Yushin was gonna win

  • @kai0shin

okami is and still is SUUUUUUUPER underrated. It's ridiculous. But he's been amazing in the UFC.

  • WARRRRRRR OKAMI

  • Okami looks mean always man!

    he is strong tough dude

which is surprising cause japanese in UFC always get fucked up

    their so weak

  • @sophisticatedplayboy

Okami isn't, bench max is 350 and he curls 85's.

  • @2431346

I KNOW YOU DUMB FUCK! but look at dream look at other japs

    they get fucked up!

in dream the black dudes an white guys alwas end up in final !

the onyl time i see japs beating a westerner is submission

    japs are weak man!

    i said okami strong!

    dumb fuck!

  • @sophisticatedplayboy

Your name is a F&*cking misnomer since you're neither sophisticated nor likely a playboy. I'm assuming you only just started getting into MMA when it became popular and have never heard of Shoot, Pride, M1, AFC, IFC< etc etc etc. My guess is also you are fat and have no fight skills at all. If I was at your gym I'd humble your ass pretty quick.

  • This sucks. I like both fighters, and they both deserve a title shot. >:/

  • Im pulling for Okami want to see the anderson rematch

  • Come on OKAMI!!!!!!

  • should be agood fight dont mind who wins really but I would preffer Nate

  • War Okami!!!!!!! I have faith that u will beat Nate and get your long deserved title shot.

  • @yellowsneakers234 he would hav got it already but lost to rich frankling back in the day and recently lost to chael sonnen

  • @dtanktdtank I realize that. He was actually already slated to fight Anderson for the UFC title, but had to pull out due to a thumb injury. They replaced him w/ Damien Maia at UFC 112. But after he healed, instead of allowing him to fight Anderson immediatly, the made him fight Chael first. We all know how that went. He's fully capable of becoming champ, but Nate is a tough stylistic match up. I wish Yushin the best.
